Are there any Moo Baan (spelling near to Patana) ... or are there any on the new MRT/BTS lines that are being built to enable kid to get to one of the stations closer to it.
Looking to pay up to 25000 baht a month.

Where did you find your ' current ' value???? You can value as much as you like... As long as you find nobody to buy it it's worth , exactly as you said your HOME, nothing more or less....
If you read the British press, in the significant numbers of stories regarding individual people they will state the value of the persons home.
The price of ones property is a national obsession. (mental illness)

Hi to all
im about to purchase a condo and I need to transfer money from abroad as requested.
as I have money in euro do you suggest any good RELIABLE service that can convert to THB in good price and not with the well known bank exchange fees which are high?
also if someone have the same experience for buying condo did this work properly? They told me because of freehold the amount needs to come from outside and write the unit number etc on the transfer details
many thanks
Transfer 1 euro, make sure it arrives.
Then transfer the rest.

Good comment, very insightful.

There may be some reason that there is no great enthusiasm for them being caught; people of influence they were linked to, maybe.
Not a few people think they carried out a worthwhile service to humanity when they dispatched Kenway.
Oh yes he was clearly a tosser, but he still has family back in England who'd presumably be pushing their MP for answers.

Did Miles Dicken Turner and Abel Bonito Caldeira, ever get caught for the killing of Tony Kenway.
Remember them hiring a motorbike using their passports, being caught on CCTV etc etc..
Surely even the Keystone cops that Thailand offers could have caught these 2, or Interpol must be involved thus their names will come up when crossing a border.
Just seems odd that they're hardly master criminals and after a quick google search can't see anything about their arrests.

Is her mother a Thai national? Being born here does not grant her Thai nationality otherwise.
If yes you can get a non-o visas and a one year extension of stay based upon being he parent of Thai.
If not then you can get non-o visa and extension of stay based upon being the parent of child attending school here.
Kid was born in Thailand has a Thai passport.. Cheers for letting me know about the child attending school part also.

As long as your Daughter enters on Her Thai passport, you would just have to enter on the 90 Day Non-O, and apply for 6 x 1 year extensions I would think, you could get a multi entry permit on each extension if required.
Elite Visa 600K baht for 5 years + 1 further year extension?
Thanks, so worst case scenario financially speaking is to stump up £15k ish for a 5 year visa. (a lot for me after school fees)

You will be able to get a 12 month extension of stay after the initial 90 day visa entry. You will need to meet the financial requirements. This extension can be renewed annually. See also this thread;
Thanks thats about £10k which is no problem as school costs about twice that amount.
Next question is obviously do they always extend after 1 year?
I've sole custody of my kid, hence worried about going there and not getting visa extended in 2/3/4/5 years.

Hi
There is a small possibility i may be moving to Bangkok towards the end of 2021, and putting my daughter in private school for circa 6 years minimum until GCSE's are finished.
She was born in Thailand thus has citizenship, i'm British.
I got a response back from the Thai Embassy stating -
Based on your information, you may be eligible to apply for a Non-Immigrant O (family) visa. Initially, it will be granted for 90 days, single entry. However, you will be able to extend it when you are in Bangkok, at your local Immigration Office.
Now it is the "Initially, it will be granted for 90 days" comment that is of interest.
Would i be reliant on the goodwill of the staff at the immigration dept. for extending this, dozens of times for the 6 years ... or is it possible to get something long term to avoid living under the worry of is the person at immigration going to be an <deleted> and not extend it.

But.. for a Brexiteer, who is still in the times of Kitchener and Gordon, of course a gigantic step too far.
Also the wild-haired clown, as minister of foreign affairs, did not have the slightest idea about the British behaviour in Birma, 19+20th century.
To be frank you Dutch are a bunch of arrogant cnts who folded faster then the French in WW2. What a pathetic bunch your male species were. Yet you pointless <deleted> who were not man enough to even attempt to defend your land were more than happy to rely on us Brits to free you.
Dutch characteristics are what the rest of Europeans think of Germans in that you are arrogant and robotic with zero sense of humour.
The reason you lot are so happy to be governed and controlled by the Germans is because at least this way you know you'll never have to defend your country against them as its been shown your males lack the spine to even try.
Too add its Burma not Birma, and the fact Boris is astoundingly intellectual, he will be far greater read and informed abut Burma than a fkn Cloggy on Thaivisa.

Economy in the US is falling????? Stock markets are at record levels last I looked. I hate to say it, but the trumpster has turned things around .as far as the EU?????? You're right on that one!
They drop interest rates which is a sign the economy is tanking and share prices go up.
Clearly someone who has <deleted> all understanding of how a functioning economy should work.

I asked for a Whisky on Thai Air when flying into BKK the other day, and was told to go and get it myself. (as in get it from the catering part)
Being as i was at the window seat with 2 other people to the right of me it was clearly a task i was unlikely to do.
Rather walk than fly with Thai Air.

I want sure if it was just a case the tide was out, as not been keeping up with Pattaya affairs.
one hell of a job to do that ... surely in time nature will take it back.

Ive been coming here for 20 years now and its certainly changed in Patts, us whiteys have been left behind it would seem
For years people said Pattaya was dead and i never agreed as it just grew and grew, but to me this time it seems as dead as ive ever known it to be ... every bar except the one on the corner in LK Metro has more woman than males, most with no customers at all.
Even the cheap bars full of granddads on soi Bukouw (spelling) were dead this evening. I went to Walking St. walked up and down and us whiteys are an endangered species down there now, The London Underground bar had a dozen people in at most.
Is it quite simply the fact that the pound has halved in value in just over a decade and inflation has been rampant in Thailand, or have the generation or 2 that came to Pattaya when it was cheap and fun moved onto other things.

The fact Trump is very rich while his wife was relatively poor before.
What is the real difference then between him and men going to Thailand to find a woman.
She wasnt poor you made that up. She was a jetsetting model, hardly skint or short of offers.

Brother, that opinion smells like colonial snobbery. forelock-tugging or racism. Females who aspire to a better life for themselves or their offspring in any male chauvinist dominated hierarchy consider this method of social-climbing as a necessary, valid (even traditional) method. Most males also approve. One cannot account for the effect of envy in views on such an issue, either. Many modern societies (Asian, Latin, Southeast Asian,, western etc) endorse such relationships and have done for centuries.
I'm glad i will never meet you in person.

Another likely factor in their attitudes is RACIAL.
trump gets his "mail order brides" from countries of WHITE people.
You're going to the "fleshpots" of Asia.Such attitudes die hard, even if they're not at the surface.
You're a wonderful individual to say his women were mail order brides, his wives were/are all we to do... and all apart from this one were close to his age.
Difference between a successful businessman pulling a beautiful well to do younger woman on his own patch and someone travelling to Pattaya and buying poverty stricken bar girls to form a relationship is pretty vast.
