So it's Lazada's fault that you didn't read and heed their clearly posted warning that you can only change once... ?

The thing is that I cannot close an account and create a new one either.

  2. My problem with Lazada is that I created the account and set it with my own mobile number. Later, I changed it to my wife's number without any issue, but it absolutely refuses to allow me to change back to my number, resulting in all kinds of <deleted> trying to cash out a refund that was sent to my wallet which uses my number, not my wife's. Moved over to Shopee and only very rarely use Lazada now, like only once a year. Never had an issue with Shopee and paying with QR is much more convenient than Lazadas transfer system.

You have problems with extremists unless they're Yaxely Lennon, his pedophile infested EDL and anyone who gaslights with a portrayal of overtly offensive imagery with humor.

You seem to be lacking in logic. I have problems with all extremists. But please tell me what he has done that is extreme in this case. Pushing and shoving to the Cenotaph? I think you need to see other incidences of violence under the guise of support for Palestine. In any case, the EDL was disbanded years ago. If he is/was involved in pedophilia, he should be arrested and charged for it.

As to imagery, have you heard of dark humor? There will always be someone who finds something offensive. Should that be used as an excuse to stop others finding it funny? There should really be no fixed boundaries as pointed out by Ricky Gervais. Should comedians and satirists self-sensor so you don't get upset?

What was the complaint? ‘Disrespectful to the host country’. An odd thing to say to people born and raised in England.

What was the fear mongering? ‘they are taking over, non British values, when Sharia is implemented’. An odd complaint about people born and raised in the UK.

So people born and raised in the UK are all fine, wonderful, law abiding citizens, with British values? You would be okay with some of those gorgeous British people trying to force their religious beliefs on you and your family and telling you what you are not allowed to say or do? I thought the UK was supposed to be a secular country and yet here we are unable to extract the Michael out of a religion whose edicts are contrary to everything the country supposedly stands for. Why can we joke about every religion bar one? I can call Jesus, Bhudda, Vishnu whatever I want with no fear of repercussion, and yet if I call Muhammad anything negative such as a c*%t (even though I do not believe he ever existed), the hounds will be baying at my door (figuratively) and death threats pouring on. The extreme adherents of the Koran and the hadiths they follow push a narrative which is the antithesis of what the vast majority of Brits desire or are willing to accept.

I know that the majority of muslims in the UK are moderate and do not support the extremists, but they are silent (with a few exceptions). Yet they are the very people who are best equiped to take a stand against extremism within their own faith. So who is left to raise this issue and bring it to the fore? And it certainly does need addressing.

I asked a poster why they thought Tommy Robinson was a racist after they stated that he was  racist .

As I haven't also stated he is a racist, how do you expect my to answer my own question ?

If I knew the answer to my question, then I wouldn't need to ask the question, now would I

Seems that some posters are lacking in reading comprehension skills, and I don't mean you.

Originally I had Viagra. Gave me headaches, stuffy nose, and flushes. Sidegra not as bad. I found Cialis lasts a long time, like well into next night. They claim 36 hours and I think true.

Viagra and Sidegra are the same drug, i.e. sildenafil. Sidegra is the one manufactured by the Thai GPO.

  7. You can buy Grakcu at 7/11 stores in Thailand. It is claimed it is a herbal all "natural male support supplement" and is widely available, however, the US FDA has issued a warning that it contains undeclared drugs, including sildenafil. Other similar products include one called Munz. About 70 Baht a capsule.

I do not know why generic tadalafil, aka Cialis, is not available here as the patent expired long ago. Sildenafil, aka Viagra is actually produced by the Thai Government Pharmaceutical Organization and sold under the name Sidegra (supposed to be prescription only).

OP. what medication did your UK doctor put you on?

I have BPH , classed as obstructive although I pee normally. Currently on a combination of dutasteride and tamsulosin. Previously, I was prescribed finasteride and doxazosin.

I asked my urologist if I would be better off having a TURP or similar surgical procedure. His advice was to stick with medication for as long as possible, because surgery carried a significant risk of creating other problems, such as impotence and retrograde ejaculation.

    And in some cases incontinence.

I went the Rezum steam route at Bamrungrad Hospital.  Below are a few of the previous related topics which might be worth reading.

  9. Came here when I was 19 and will be 61 next month. Way back then it wasn't easy to keep in touch with people so no real bridges from the beginning. In the time I have been here, I have only been back to Blighty a handful of times and of those, only two trips were for holidays. Only still in touch with me dad, sister and a close friend and even then I only call home about 3 times a year. Will go back next year for a week or two as my old man is knocking on a bit now (92 next month).

It's depending on the title deed. Many farm-land plots are not real ownership deeds – it cannot be sold – but that kind of land is still traded at quite high prices. Real title deed with full ownership – which is only nor sor 4, aka Chanote – has little higher price par rai. Banks cannot get mortgage on land with low title deeds – the deed says so on the back; i.e., the land cannot se sold or mortgaged – only the house, which might be allowed to be build on the land depending of the title of the deed, can be financed. Therefore the trading value of land can have no value at all, when it comes to borrowing money.

This government is planning to change Sor Por Kor land (many land plots used for agriculture) to land with title deeds. That may actually push up the price of the land.

In the last 3 years that I was in Thailand boredom became a big thing for me. And then you can end up in the bars every day, basically drinking yourself to death!😒

Where I am there are no bars, so at least it has that saving grace. However, there is no real western community either, so if you don't speak Thai here, it could get very lonely. This seems to be quite common among retirees in the North East, who do most of their drinking at home. I don't think they realized what they were getting into. Sad really.

One of the downsides to Thailand.  If you want to pick up even a few hours of work a week- out of boredom or need-, you risk a one way trip for violating WP regulations.

The way I understand it, you can't even volunteer unless you want to risk someone you've cheezed off ratting you out for volunteering without a WP.

True. There is online work available though which might work for some. I'm lucky in that I haven't needed a WP for the past 6 or 7 years. I officially retired from my employer on 31 December 2022, but they kept me on a 12 month contract working from home 3 days a week. They may even keep me on for another year. It all helps sliding me into retirement as I work out what I want to do to keep myself occupied.
