  1. I'm absolutely with you. The health and safety here is non existent, which is why extreme caution is required even on a normal day, never mind when they are "improving" the wires ????
  2. If what is being reported is true, another great bit of business. Phillips for 42mil is cheap as chips. You never know. With our outgoings we might have done some great business and also win the net spend trophy ????
  3. Tis a bit of a joke there isn't it.
  4. I think he wasn't paying attention. My post above explains what has been going on this last few weeks on this road. These weren't your normal dangling wires, this is all about a mass tidy up and loads of workers have been on that road. It really wasn't hard to miss what has been going on. As for the bikers texting. I'm with you on that. Bladder idiots
  5. In fairness, anyone who lives in the Khoa Noi area knows the comms companies have been tidying up the wires for several weeks. This last week the road has been absolutely covered in wires that have been cut and left on the pavement / road until the truck comes and collects them. It was so obvious that extreme caution should have been observed for anyone riding on that road. We all know they don't have the same safety standards out here. I'm amazed that not of the workers have been killed. They literally put their wooden ladder on the road and climb up to do the cables. The odd one will have someone footing the ladder or a solitary cone at the bottom of the ladder.
  6. Maybe Sterling but have a feeling Silva is staying
  7. Ditto that and with all the faces the same way. A mate of mine used to (probably still does) get notes in his change and scrumple them up in his pocket. Used to do my head in
  8. Looking like Gabby Jesus is on the way out. Sorry to see him go as he's been a great player with a great attitude. Can't blame him wanting more game time and wish him all the best if he does go
  9. Has anyone registered for M-Flow yet? Forgot to do it as was stuck in a queue a couple of months ago going back down south. Coming back up north yesterday, stuck again in a stupid queue whilst they force everyone into signing up to M-Flow. They should maybe do something similar with the vaccines!! Anyway, a right pain to register but finally done it. The thing is, on the website it says many easy ways to pay but when registering it only gave me one option and that was by credit card. Although I have 2 Thai bank accounts I only have a credit card with my UK bank and so I presume in a couple of weeks when I head south again the grand total of 60 baht will be taken from my UK credit card and not sure what charges will be attached to that. My question is, has anyone else registered and had the same experience or managed to change the payment method later? Would like to change it to my Thai bank before I head back through the toll's
