  1. :o So very sad,i think that all readers from all countries can see a reflection

of our own 'leaders'throwing red herrings by the ton,to cover the B/S

that we as reasonably ejakated hoomons see right through !

Each & every land has its own brand of same, just a REAL shame the Thai

people, being poor & under-educated have to put up with highly educated

con-men who would take (with a smile)their last chance.

  2. We all know that there is no such thing as prostitution in Thailand  :D

So how can those 100 cops be chasing prostitutes?

You gotta love it here.  :o

Tell Thaksin Shinawatra, see what he got to say... HaHa

I'v been reading & posting for a short time, but i have NEVER heard (read)

such shit,if my thai g/f saw this complete rubbish on nearly all your posts

she would dump me & probably all you sad sax of shit,LOS.

  3. :D

While generally farang is a neutral word, it can be used as an insult depending on its context.

    That reminds me.......

I have heard a person referred to as "Kwai" (Buffalo) as an insult

I have also heard the term "Kwai Farang" as even more insulting

What have the Buffalo ever done to deserve that :o:D

    :D:D

Yeah, I've had worse compliments then some of these 'insults'

My buffalo NEVER says ( it/she ) I LOVE YOU (discuss)

  4. Being hung like an Orang Utan has never hindered one's progress.

    :D

Actually Tiz, that is the thing my wife likes least about me (ouch), however I do believe initially it was the hope that I could provide a secure future. Now, after X amount of years my wife thinks it is love above anything else.

There you go Bambi, love is a contributing factor sometimes :o:D

    HAA HHAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAA :D

  6. Was Travelling along highway 2 the other day and happened to stop at a small restaurant just to the south of Ban Non Sa-at. The owner is Alan, a farrang from Derby  and he has set up providing European and Thai Food. Very friendly place, spent far longer there than I expected. Draught Leo very good and food surprisingly good and reasonable price.

If you are heading back from Udon or Nong Khai why not give him a try.

The Restaurant is called OOR PLA PAU and is located at KM post 57 about 59 KM south of Udon Thani

Really good to hear (read ?)that an en-eglit (farrang) is making good!.

I believe there is a gap in the market for more high end exclusive non-thai restaurants..world class chef/menu, silver service, top wine cellar etc... There are some in BKK, but the majority are attached to hotels. There are plenty of people in BKK, expats and thais alike, who have the appreciation and desire for non-thai haute cuisine and the means to fund it on a regular basis. I like all styles of eating/dining , but this is just one particular area where as a foriegn expert chef, I believe you could make more of an impact.

Maybe you could start a little 20 seater somewhere :o

    :D Penelope (?)

If you look at the typical 'fellang' in T/L they are too 'into' the Thai thing,

either not enough money or only want to 'exprience' T/L.

Why i told Xchef to start in a 'bar-rest' was only for him to

'get to grips' with T/L, & go from there.

Myself same predicament, now i'm looking for a partner (they pay I work)

  10. Bee:angry:

Executive Chef with over 19 years experience coming to Thailand next, looking to relocate to area. looking for contacts/information regarding possible employment vacancies.Any help, information that can be given would be truly appreciated.

    Regards

    Chef Michael

:o Been lookin' long time 4 head chef job Thailand,

i think we are too expensive.

You can try coming to T/L & looking 4 a job in a restaurant (low scale)

& work-up,i'v been looking quite some time for similar, no way.

I work for BIG international co (uk), they have interests in T/L but not

for a fat expensive 'fallang' (look up), they prefer cheap Thai labour.
