Firstly, sorry it wrong forum but I guess many who read this have had this problem - where can I find decent travel insurance for my partner at a good rate?
She's covered here which would cover her in the UK but I'd have to Claim back plus I'm not to sure about the actual cover!
Thanks

Thanks for the reply, yeah I think this will be the real struggle - not so much the understanding just the learning part

Last we were there had an appointment booked for 2 after arriving in bangkok very early decided to try our lick and they saw the missus at 9am!
-
Is this lituk test and the second stage this process - so after 30 months or do you need to do this first up?
-
Am I correct in assuming this can be carried out in CNX? I'm a British citizen and we've a consulate there - plus MFA has offices in CNX.
Don't fancy going to BKK if no reason

Do it as if the first one. If you kept all the papers you can reuse a lot of stuff it saves a hell of a lot of time.
Just had my gf 2nd visa granted for another 6 months
Honesty always best approach

Hadn't heard of those two! Cheers!

Just booked through westeast travel on eva leaving April 17 return september for around 38,000 b from CNX
Two single tickets and discounted ticket for having left thailand in past 12 months to UK (for a thai national)
Saved around 100,000b so missus will be happy and my wallet is too!

Cheers guys my dates are set in stone have to leave April! I'll keep trawling the net

Quick question. What's the cheapest and best way to book this from the UK? Prices seem way out when you look compared to the reverse journey Cheers in advance
For example BA is £750

Thanks for that - I might have to make a flying visit to get this sorted as the missus will struggle on her own - esp with the EU rights etc
-
It's the French embassy I need as that's the first country we will be in! Better get emailing!
-
One last question do I have to book an appointment or can I just stroll my with my EU directive under my pocket and get the application there and then?
-
Same here latest visit visa approved today had no problems with a three month postdate either
-
Will do just think ill just pop over to bangkok and walk through the missus through it
Thanks

Quick question... Does my partner have to apply for this at an embassy in thailand?
Can she do it at a UK based embassy with the same docs - which this time would also have a booked and paid for return flight?
If not can this be done in a short time frame in Thailand or better still while retaining her passport?
Thanks
-
I did printouts of bank statements for the first visit visa and the second one too - hopefully be ok this time aswell.
Supporting docs if not in thailand together need to include communication - skype, phone records etc remember that!

No-one drink San mig light? Bottles only though, the cans are rsnk
-
Sorry to hear that.
If you upload the letter and redact the personal info then members may be able to offer advice as to how you can improve your application.
Quick check list. Did you include phone records, skype, Facebook, pictures together with captions saying where and when taken, flight tickets/electronic receipts and copies of passport stamps?

I'll add my two cents.
When this missus came over this summer she was asked some simple questions all of which matched the info she had provided the UKBA.
Then was allowed in, no problems. This procedure is the same in many places. I've been asked the same questions in the USA and in Oz.
Just be honest and there will be no problems

The actual palm storks/trees are what I'm looking for

Hoping for some help here - I know climate isn't ideal for growing this type of tree up here but does anyone know of anyone selling the stuff -
Or a reliable way of getting up here?

Has this topic died, been reading up on sago, still after some advice - does anyone know what's happened to Cornish Carlos?
Schengen question
in Visas and migration to other countries

Hello!
The gf is over here on her Second visit visa with no Schenghan visa as we had no trips planned to Europe.
However, we may now be heading to France. Given she has a multi entry UK visa and onward ticket booked to return to thailand - can she apply for her visa at the French embassy in London or is the option totally off the cards?
Any help greatly appreciated as always
