You need to find what companies in your home country will hire for work in Thailand.
Your only real hope would be an off shore company.
Any domestic jobs in your fields of interest would be filled by a Thai national.

My mother must have been psychic.
My name, Curt, means rudely blunt.

I was wondering if there was a way this could be done? If so, is this done by the package overnight or do they have a container service available for volume orders? Thanks for the info!
I don't know of anyone who has the foods shipped, but I know of shippers who do this in Thailand.
It can be a small parcel, air container or sea container.
It is quite expensive.

They all seems "soo busy"
I think this is telling.

I don't know about a doberman, but there's a nice bull mastiff outside Modern Home Tower.
Talk about your alpha soi dog!

I've always found that my Asian friends, (Thai, Vietnamese, Cambodian, Chinese), always want directions.
I give them a map and get a blank stare.
Conversely, they always want to tell me how to get somewhere.
I ask for the address and look on a map.

A couple of my favorites:

Big, outdoor concert in San Diego, California.
It featured the Beach Boys, Jan and Dean, the Dartells, April Stevens and Nino Tempo, plus a bunch more surf and R&B headliners.
I think it cost around $3!
Talk about old.......

Cambodia is not THAILAND.
No need to say any more

Now, is sweetbread an Asian invention or just a horrible mutation of our own bread, a mistake that they stuck with and liked or a deliberate variation on an idea that was initaially that of which ever country invented bread in the first place?
I think the "bacon and egg sandwich" was simply a foriegn concept for them.
Was this on their menu, or a special request?
There is plenty of "normal" breads to be found, including numerous commercial "enriched white bread", suitible for an egg sandwich.
Talk about a horrible mutation: "Enriched White Bread"

Are we talking gyoza sauce like stuff?
It's called "jek cho" (pardon the spelling).

There you go trying to think the issue AmeriThai!
Actually, the Bush administrations concern over Iran has been going on quite a while.
It's very old news.
The latest news is Iran's interest in discussions.
Their new president doesn't come off as a complete head-case.
It actually sounds like a the rhetoric is toning down.

For finding locations that aren't hotels, tourist attractions, major architectural landmarks or Buddhist temples, the most detailed source is Bangkok Map, a 196-page, thoroughly indexed, 1:8,000 scale, hardcover atlas published by the Agency for Real Estate Affairs. The edition I have dates to 1998 so it's out of date but still useful for anything built before that year.
The problem with Bangkok Map is the lack of a street index.
I'm used to maps indexed by streets, not buildings.

Scampy, what does Chinese skin have to do with Thailand ?
Show me the connection and it stays.

Anybody can introduce me an economic wedding ceremony office in bkk?
thx
If it's an economical wedding we're looking for, check with the Monk's Hospital,
445 Sri Ayuttaya Rd., near the Rama VI expressway.
Tel 02-354-4310
They offer group weddings for a small donation.
Your wedding will also benefit the hospital.
Talk about good Karma!

You're going to the wrong places.... My wife can be pretty fussy about food quality, and she has never complained when we have been to a BBQ...I imagine that an 89 baht BBQ, that caters to expats ( ), would be a little scary!totster
I enjoyed Run Sai Garden.
But, like I stated, I was the only non-Thai in the joint.
I have found that, although quality might stay good, the prices typically rise when a place becomes a hangout for Western clientele.

The Bus Maps from Bangkok guide are really good and cheap.
Thaiways offers their maps on the web, and free paper versions are available at many locations, such as tourist kiosks and hotel lobbies.
-
If you were taken there by Thais then I would suggest that the food would be OK to eat...
I do apologise to all if my comments in this thread seem negative... for clarification I was referring to the big BBQ joints in Pattaya that cater for the most part to "cheap charlies".
I am quite aware that there are other BBQ joints that Thais frequent, and they do have quality food and low cost.
My "dubious" remark was tongue-in-cheek.
No offense taken.
Unfortunately, many of the "cheap" places bump up the prices once they get a farang clientele.
I imagine that an 89 baht BBQ, that caters to expats ( ), would be a little scary!

the quality of food in those types of restaurant is generally not as good as you will find elsewhere... and also in my experience , the types of farangs you find there is generally of dubious quality...
Just my opinion ...
Here's my 89 baht spot: Rum Sai Garden
We have some friends, she an simple office worker, he a messenger.
They like to take us out, but have a very modest income.
This place is near their home.
I was a bit taken back when we first arrived, but soon found it to be quite good.
Be care with drink consumption; that's where they get you!
I was the only farang in the place.
Talk about dubious quality!!!!

Any pipes, machetes or lumber nearby?

It seems to reinforce the view that indeed Thailand is becoming a more violent place.
A weblog, based on anecdotes.
Now we have the definitive statement from a pundit from the environment proposed in "Population #1".
After reading Stickman, one would also assume all Thai girls are hookers.
-
Now we would all be safer if we never went anywhere or did anything. The fact is that most people are out and about after dark at some time or another and as such are increasingly more likely to be a victim of violence.
Hanging out in and around bars, that risk grows exponentially, as the evening passes into morning.
When the goblins start wholesale attacks at Tops or Lotus, then I will start worrying.

A few progress has been done, just spoke to my friend and he spent hours talking to the police. So far the police has some lead on this... They are now after 6 gang kids in their late teens.. Apparently, similar incident happened on saturday night with bats and knives. They've got to be stopped!
This is actually a bit surprising.
Does "Y" come from a wealthy family?
Maybe it made some press.
Maybe it's just lip service from the police.

I don't think most Thais feel farangs have face.
