A really sweet, dark African one more time.

    Visit Portugal again.

Learn to play both golf (when I'm older) and chess asap so that I can teach my boy how to play it.

    Finally finish reading Ulysses.

Buy a yacht and learn how to sail her.

Buy an old Landrover and do her up.

Visit Mongolia, India, Nepal and Bhutan (not necessarily in that order).

See Julian Assange being released without charge. So far you don’t have a candidate that I could even come close to beating Trump your people your people

See the look on Trump's face when he's not re-elected.

    See Ireland finally reunited.

Watch my boy grow up happily and become a good man.

You people will badmouth Trump but when you’re $1200 stimulus check arrives you’ll be down at the bar sucking up beer and tipping the waitresses big-time

So far you don’t have a candidate that could even come close to beating Trump
Biden, Michelle Obama, Bernie.  You make me laugh

as for me .. change oil filter use a good brand for your diesel  non synth   ..  it is a waste of money  .. BUT  change oil at regular intervals  ...

    me  40 yr auto usa

Using synthetic is not a waste of money for me

I get extended oil changes and increased fuel mileage

With air cooled motorcycles the engines run cooler, less friction
With my pick up I switched from good quality oil, using Shell and Castro, to 100 synthetic Amsoil

At 185000 miles it was using one quart per 5000 mile oil change

Now at 230,000 miles it is always at the full mark at a 10,000 mile oil change due to the fact

that synthetic has a much higher film strength

  3. For those thinking of using semi synthetic, synthetic blend or full synthetic

Semi synthetic is not always a 50-50 mixture

Depending on the manufacturer it can be as low as 30% synthetic and 70% mineral oil

After my first oil change of semi synthetic I started reading articles and said why go part way

For a few more dollars I can go 100% synthetic

  4. You should’ve figured out that from day one that a Thai family comes first and you are the last one on the totem pole

You are below the Soi dog and given the title of Mr ATM

Love seldom figures into the equation and if it does it

does not have the same meaning as you give it.

More money does not mean more love

right now manilla is on lockdown so travel and visiting may be a bit of a problem.  You won't see anywhere as much asian architecture, thai type temples, etc.  Food is no where near as good in my opinion.  Religion is quite different, and attractive or less attractive to some depending on their likes.  Barrios and ghettos are as bad or worse as anything you will see in Thailand.

Oh and this constant page updating reloading "transferring data from forum.thaivisa" that shows up in the lower left makes the page jump up and down, and really a pain to use this site

I don’t know how any barrios and ghettos could get any worse than what you see here in Bangkok

Go behind any shopping center or five-star hotel and there’s nothing but dilapidated tin shack’s the people sleep on the ground and cook in a little charcoal pot

you could bulldozed down 60% of Bangkok and never miss it!

Didn't both Ford and GM go bankrupt back in 2009?

Generous infusions of taxpayers money kept them afloat but I think they are zombie companies.

It was GM who went bankrupt and the US government bail them out taking stock in return

several years later the government sold the stock and lost something like $39 billion

Ford motor company never went bankrupt and never needed a bailout

None of those 3 options work for us. I want things to all be done legally for down the track, especially if we will later on be buying property and investments together. Plus it's not a good idea to have a non-legal marriage in Thailand when later on I will probably be staying here on a Non-O marriage option rather than METV.

No sick buffalo, no operation, etc. She's not from Issan or one of these hookers that many foreigners seem to like to get into a relationship with. All out expenses are shared, she has a decent job and is university educated.

She will be the owner of the property and investments and you will be the ATM provider

Please buy the ordinary stuff everybody's buying. There's no fancy Super Diesel", it's only a lie.

And that's from people who work at gas stations.

If the people you’re asking at gas stations are here in Thailand I wouldn’t put too much faith in it

I don’t imagine most of those people pumping fuel have more than a grade school education

"Gasohol" means it contains ethanol which can be 10% or 20%, not sure if that creates a price difference.

As far as I am aware only Thailand and Canada have widespread use of this type of fuel. The idea being that it keeps the engine clean by effectively wearing the metal away.

I have a petrol strimmer and the warranty prohibits the use of fuel with a higher than 5% ethanol content. I use Benzine, it is more expensive and becoming difficult to find.

You need to Google countries that use ethanol

The majority of the countries around the world use ethanol in their gasoline

Brazil uses 85% in all their fuel and there are some countries that go all the way to 100% ethanol

Where I live in the Midwest of the USA I can get anything from

    E-10 up to E-85

I only use Shell V-power in my 2008 3.0L Vigo.  When I first got the truck I would use regular diesel for a few tanks and record the mileage, then use V-power for a few tanks.  I found that the V-power gave more mileage per baht.  Close to 400k on that truck and I've never... ever had a problem.

A long time ago a gear head told me the best thing for your engine is to use the same gas every time.  If you use PTT fuel, you should ALWAYS use PTT.  if you use Shell, you should Always use shell.  He said the different additives used by different companies can cause issues.  Not sure it's true but it couldn't hurt.

That is an old wives tale if I have ever heard one!

  11. Most of these girls are the greatest actresses in the world

They can outsmart the FBI, the CIA, and Secret Service

I have heard every story imaginable and I’m sure there’s more

They play on your emotions and sympathy

They are schooled from early age by their mothers and other family members as how to extract as much money from a foreigner as possible

Grandmother is in the hospital, the water buffalo died, they’re going to shut my mothers electricity off, my baby is sick, I lost my money and cell phone.

Save your money for a background check, forget about the relationship, have some fun, and learn about the way of life

    over here.

You are dealing with a different culture, a different mindset, and I completely different way of thinking.

No need to ask her personal questions as she will only tell you what she thinks you need to know

To a Thai girl money is the most important thing to them

Next is family, smartphone, house, condo, car, scooter, gold.

You, mister ATM, fall in line after the Soi dog

Good luck and keep a tight grip on your money

That was because of the Visa, not the re-entry permit. I've never heard of a "multi-entry ED Visa". You may have received an ED Visa and a Multi Re-entry permit when you were here years ago.

I get a Multi Re-entry permit every year when I renew my extension, even though I may not have any plans on leaving the country at all (just like to be prepared in case my situation changes). (Thinking about it, over the last 4 years I've left the country just once. Next year though, who knows ?)

Save your money and get a re-entry at the airport, 10 minutes.
