  1. As long as there is cheap sex, tourist's from all over the world will continue to flock here.

The way tourist demographics are changing, it will be even more of a buyers market for westerners.

sex is no longer cheap in lieland.... even the buffaloes want 1k for short time.... it seems the thai logic that if turnover decreases then they put the price up...

no wonder pattaya is like a ghost town

Agreed the days of cheap sex are over

There will be big changes in Pattaya

    Over the next 5 - 10 years

  2. where else in the world can you drive on a highway for 2hrs for $47 US? (an additional comment was edited out by moderator)

  3. Why should this little girl get punished for something that will happen in the station or prison anyway?drunk.gif

-Among 1,865 drug user in the treatment cohort, Among male Injectable Drug Users Thailand prisoners who had ever been jailed (N = 272),

-15.8% had used drugs in prison.

    Ref:

---Study: Drug use, Increasing Incarceration Rates, and Prison-Associated HIV risks in Thailand, PubMed, US National Library of MedicineNational Institutes of Health

Plus, exactly who was going to get hurt if the boy friend had gotten his drugs and she went home?

-The boy friend? He is he hardly a victim, he gets his brains blitzed anyway, big deal!crazy.gif

Plus, if she had brought along enough money she could have walked out of the visiting area with as much drugs as she wanted, and this is true of any police station or prison in the world!

Because she is not long out of prison

    For drug offensives

  4. But having your passport on your person is a requirement in many countries if you are a tourist. There are many places I'd never be caught out without it on my person. Just don't need the potential extra hassles by the police.

I have to disagree, the requirement is to be able to produce it upon request. It does not say anywhere one has to have it on them.

If say police stop you on the beach, where will you keep it?

If asked to show passport, theoretically , if you do not have it with you, police would accompany you to your hotel room for you to produce it or give you so many hours to present it for inspection

    Thais must carry ID card

Everyone one else must carry passport.

It is the law and has been for a very long time.

  5. Seen a few adverts yesterday on the notice board at big c extra on pattaya klang

in the area you are looking prices. 6000 - 12000 some nice looking places

the notice board outside foodland also on pattya klang will have them as well.

  6. weather is quiet. not one boat. only the moored fishing boats. no tourists returning from the islands, no boat touts on the footpath. not sure about Bali Hai tho. quite pleasant actually. people are swimming in the boat zones without fear of being hit by a jetski or chopped up by a propeller

The beach must be a lot calmer than 3rd road.

There has been strong gusts of wind here all day

  7. World cup Footy? I thought footy is only played in OZ giggle.gif

Haha. Mate I'm in Thailand on my Aussie passport but even I have to admit Aussie Rules is a distant 2nd to the world's number one sport !

Sent from my Nexus 5 using Thaivisa Connect Thailand mobile app

Was watching Australia's road to the World Cup yesterday on Astro.

    Reported claimed that Aussie rules

is now a distant second to football

    For Australia's youth.

  8. Sticky rice with mango and coconutsauce costs 50 baht now in BKK-suburbs. How much is that in your places?

40 baht is the norm in Chiang Mai. I remember when it was 15 baht, but it was difficult to find shops that would sell it to farangs for that price.

    60 baht in pattaya
