Quarantine is one of the topics that I would get informed.

The other one of course is customs handling.

I have absolutely no idea about both topics.

Transport is probably the easiest topic (not considering cost).

And as already written, a very long transport.

Mexico is almost as far from Thailand as can be.

A passenger trip would be 24 hours and more with at least one stop/plane change.

I suspect that a big animal transport needs longer,  more time needed for transit.

You are right.  Last trip to T'land, I sat beside a Mexican.  He had to fly to Europe (in this case Paris) to get a plane to B'kok.  He'd been going for hours.  And for 2 weeks holiday!

  2. When I was taking driving lessons in Australia, I was taught to back into a space between two cars in a street.  Here in France, I see people doing the same thing.  It depends on what sort of parking it is.  Supermarket parking is different.  You can drive straight in, but it is easier to get out later if you have backed in first.  That's my opinion and I can't understand the fuss about it all.  Six pages already!!!

Barack Hussein Obama....name don't sound really American.

They could be from any of the former French possessions in North and N.W. Africa, Morocco, Algeria, Tunisia, Mauretania and others.

We're in the 21st century for Christ's sake, people emigrate and immigrate.

France is no longer only Gauloises, baguettes, Brie, Kronenbourg biere and Clouseu.

They don't even have to be from former French colonies.  I was not born in any French possession and had no family links, but when I married, I applied for French nationality.  It was granted.  I am for admin,  purposes,  French.  I travel on a F. passport, I vote and am just like everyone else.  The only problem I have, is with French people in Thailand.  They don't like that I have citizenship.

  4. A very interesting OP, not that I have any dogs.  But just out of interest, I have always understood that the UK has very strict rules for the entry of animals, and that they all have to go into quarantine.  Unless I haven't read properly, it is not mentioned.

  5. I attended at least two of his meetings in Sydney.  It's strange,  I didn't really  like him, there was something that repelled me, but he WAS magnetic.  When he appealed for people to stand up and let Christ into their hearts, people by the hundreds got up.  His meetings were full to overflowing.  Another thing that was striking, was that all his group were tall, handsome and extremely well dressed people.  A Godlike party!!!!!  He never had anyone 'ordinary' around him.

  6. Actually there needn't be any problem at all.  I have a 3 plane trip to CM - 2 Air France and 1 B'kok A/ways.  At the first check-in, the luggage goes through to CM.  When I get to B'kok, instead of turning left to go to Immigration, I go straight on to Transit.  The first two times I was the only person at Immigration, the third, only one person.  There are three desks, with a person in front who checks your papers.  Then you go one step further to Immigration.  That's it!!!

The first time I actually had an official who took me to where I had to go.  You then look for your gate.  B'kok Airways has a lounge where you can drink, eat and have a comfortable seat.

He knowingly helped his wife and her ex-Thai husband escape after killing another foreigner she was involved with? :shock1:

Me thinks he may have taken those 'for better or worse' marriage vows a whittle bit too seriously.

Use the proper terms (at least from the report that we have).  It was her ex-Thai lover, not husband.  As for him supposedly saying she was his wife.  I don't believe that.  She was the Frenchman's mistress.  He says all he did was to help her to escape.

Maybe it is as he says.  At the least he is an accessory to murder.
