  1. Do you have connecting balconies? If so, go to the nearest farmers market and buy a nice big fresh fish. Put the dead fish in a large jar half filled with water. (Taking a dump in the jar is also optional, that makes it personal and a nice touch) Cover it for a few days and leave in direct sunlight. Then set it on the railing between apartments fully opened so it can waft. Seal up your door and windows and there you now have the best passive aggressive couse of action available. After a few weeks, go pour it over his scooter leaving a red shirt and one of those hand clappers behind. Then HE will MOVE. This is thailand...have some fun for pete sake. You're welcome buddy!

  2. If you didn't understand her 100% why didn't you just ask her for clarification or brush up on your Thai?

If you're going to post this nonsense as a thinly veiled attack on males (expats) and their adulterous behaviour at least make sure you understood her first.

    (sounded so unbelievable to me).

    Exactly. smile.png

The thing is, if i wanted to "troll"..do you think i would be dumb enough to put disabled etc? I would actually make it MORE believable.

The fact that he is doing this to her despite being disabled would be bad enough..but then my mind boggled at him being even less of a catch as such (not helping her out and his age and disability on top). As mean as that sounds..its true. Its not like he is taking care of her and so she feels trapped etc. She is staying with him out of some sense of i dunno..worry/loyalty..love?

Pff. ..many of you guys have lived here of years, im sure you have heard much worse. To call this unbelievable is what is unbelievable.

Anyway, im not going to defend myself any further..i was looking for feedback, not dumb accusations.

Edit: the reason i found out he is disabled is because i asked why she showers him everyday. I thought that was a bit extreme on the "caring" front in a normal relationship. I can understand showering together..but she said she would shower/bath him. I at first thought she was just overly motherly to an able bodied guy. So made more sense when she said he is disabled so has trouble doing this himself.

My guess he either has a massive penis or foot long tongue.

Or she does. This IS Thailand after all.

  3. Interesting! A famous and well respected Thailand mordoo (sp?) Otherwise known as a monk that speaks to dead spirits about the future was told to tell the Thai people that a farang would completely control Thailand within 8 years time. That was about 7 years ago that he made that statement as I best recall. Can't recall hia name though. I will have my wife find a link if she can.

It's also in line with what the book Revelation has to say about Thailand along with every other country in the world. Could this thai monk be right? Time will tell I suppose. At least we all have a front seat...

  4. I bought my first house when I was still in college with a lease option deal. It worked out perfect and I made about 250,000 dollars profit 7 years after I exercised my option to purchase the home. I got lucky and sold at the height of the market in southern California. 10,000 dollars down payment and $1000 lease payment per month with $300 of that credited toward the set purchase price. I bought the house after 2 years. How I managed the financing was to find a grey market loan broker and for a "fee" he fixed all the paperwork for me. I was self employed right out of college so I had no way to qualify with a regular bank. Anyway, I paid a higher interest rate for a few years until I had established myself in my first engineering job and then i simply refinanced at a much better rate.

I ended up selling the house to another NASA engineer that worked for JPL (Jet Propulsion Lab) in Pasadena. So these types of deals do have some success behind them. A friend of mine even did a deal like this for his house down in Phuket. It worked perfect. Cheers, don't give up!

  5. My dad is 82 years old and his thai lady friend that lives with him in Bangkok is 50 something. She used to be a lawyer down in Phuket before she met dad. Personally, my thai wife and I do not like her. Dad gives her a allowance of 35,000 baht per month. Plus she owns a messanger service in Bangkok that makes a lot of money. Her main client is Kingpower at swampy but she has hundreds of others. My dad has asked her for an accounting of where she spends the 35k per month and she refuses to even discuss it with him. Honestly, dad is not getting it up anymore and Cialis won't help. We thought it might be the companionship that he enjoys but she's out most nights till late. Gets home between 10 pm to 2 am. She wakes up around 11 am. I told dad she was taking the piss and he gets testy with me and defends her so he won't lose face. What should I do to get my pops to ditch this old money grubbing thai hag. I can see that dad is not really happy and he does not get out much any more. He used to be such a stud back in the day...very sad.

  6. Here's a funny one. My dad is 82 years old and he lives in Bangkok with his 50 something Thai lady friend. They have a Mercedes but like to take the mini busses whenever they can. My dad is a take no crap kind of guy. He uses his age advantage to regularly curse out a careless or rude drivers. First, he gets up real close to them, in their personal space, and curses them out in english. He leaves out nothing as he is a former marine. Then comes the kicker. He also curses them out in perfect Thai in front of everyone. He's very thorough and never breaks eye contact with them. I've seen him do this and it's brilliant to see. Seems to work too. He's never been challenged in the last 5 years he's lived here. Go dad! Hehehe.

  7. A medical visa is available for folks wanting to get the one off gender reassignment or finally finish that pesky frontal lobotomy. The latter will definitely require an extension of stay approved by a $$$qualified Thai doctor.

With a medical visa the possibilities are endless!!!

  8. Here's an idea I've seen work. While the fighting is taking place, go upstairs with a new can of bright red spray paint. If there is no cctv cams about, walk up to their door and quietly write in THAI for them to shut the fock up!!!

Word will quickly get around about this and the guy will lose face and be forced to keep his loud mouth to himself. Problem hopefully solved.

If not, there's always the molotov cocktail approach. I'm not joking.

  9. Interesting story OP. Regarding the cost, my Thai wife had the same operation at a private hospital in 1995 while attending university in Bangkok. The cost was 10,000 baht. She was in the hospital for one week. And yes, she still has the scar to prove it and says the pain was worse than child birth! Feel better and welcome to Thailand.

  10. Best advice I can give you is to get out of Pattaya and try to get back to where your Thai woman's home town is or village. Anywhere is better than Soddom & Gomorrah because the odds are against you there and you will eventually get nabbed by Thai immigration police.

Get out of Bangkok too. Try to get your woman to move to a rural area where pretty much no one cares about your status.

Once there, start going around to the local private schools and ask for a job teaching English. Don't ask for a work permit and be willing to work for reduced cash intially and any hours they can give you. Stay humble and be a friend to everyone you meet along the way. Live cheaply and save your money until your able to get on your feet again. Only then, go directly to the airport, pay the 20k fine, fly to Laos and get a new entry visa from the Thai consulate there.

After arriving back in Thailand, go back to the area you are established in and start teaching english for young Thai kids after school lets out. Believe me, Thai parents that send their kids to private, non-goverment schools love to pay for after school english classes. Eventually, with your wife's support you will become a reputable member of the local establishment and gain much respect from both the local teachers and even the local police. You will be accepted and you will make good money.

Problem solved. Btw, all this advice is based on personal experiences of my farang friends, some family, (my college aged son to be exact), and some from my personal experience.

    Choke dee!
