  1. It's a long story I don't feel like sharing at 2:23am. The jewelery exists, the hotel isn't expensive, blah blah blah. Thank you for the nonsense response.

You may feel it is nonsense but as you confirm, you have no money, your hotel is cheap and now you have lost mega money jewellery you were carrying around the world "locked" in a backpack. Perhaps you would care to share what you will tell the police if you report it. Forget insurance as even if you have any they will not pay out as it was not in a safe.

Have you got a receipt from customs for the temporary import of such valuable jewellery ?

he never said he had no money, he said he had no money at the time to pay the deposit on a house hence he is staying in a hotel.

why do some posters choose to misread posts and look to try and belittle another poster by posting crap?

and expensive-ish now means mega money, get real, what is expensive to one person may not expensive to another. Also there is no mention of a backpack, or travelling around the world. It seems like you read what was written, ignore what was written and spout your own shit to make your crap post seem better.

Ah, yes....the normal responce from a 'platinum' type member (just member would be suffice)...they get this staus from having many posts...most of which are a smiley face / Lol / etc....and have no decent answers to the topic's. Dont know why the bother even answering.

  2. thrashed northampton 1-0 today

    bring on chesterfield wednesday

a big 3 points last night

    2 home games to come

    come on u reds

p.s yes i know i'm the only one on this thread but what the hel_l ?

Just so you know there is more than one City fan in Thailand. If we can win our other game in hand and scunthorpe who play forest today draw then we can close right in and create a gap between 2nd and 3rd. I really hope we go up this year its about time. Come on you reds!!

bring it on..1-0 @donny, with forest to play this saturday and scunthorpe two weeks after..i think....we will be playing west ham next season!!!!! :o

  3. 6th in the table, a solid performance against Sheffield today, even Fergie was watching us, as we are his opponants next week. Fastest Premiership goal of the season today

We CAN be a force to be reckoned with I feel, but I would still be happy with 17th spot.

We HAD to win today as our next games are against Man United, West Ham , Chelsea, Arsenal and Pompey :o

Not many points coming our way over the next 4 weeks....but U never know.

Any other Royals fans...PLEASE add your comments here, same goes for any Reading admirers, of which I know there are many.

    Come on UR'ssssssssssssss :D

i really do hope the royals do well.....but as for being a force............nah......

thats what wigan, west ham thought...........and possibly charlton for a few years.....they unfortunatley havent got what it takes to progress that final big hurdle.............

  4. If you plan a stroll on Beach Road at 3.45am: take a pointed stick; because you will be attacked and robbed if you are alone. That I can guarantee 100%.

Would I take a stroll around Moss Side in Manchester at 3.45 am: No: Because it is a Carribean slum full of drug taking yardie vermin, who will beat me to death with their gym exercised biceps and fists.

Would I take a stroll along Beach Road, Pattaya at 3.45 am: No: Because it is awash with ladymen thieves and Thai male robbers and bandits who have had a part-time training in gym-style Thai boxing, and have absolutely no scruples in beating a fellow human being to death, or else stabbing him/her in the abdomen and/or shooting him/her dead witha pistol/revolver.

Time to educate these tourist fools.

what a tit.....a typical 'know it all'.........why dont you start the ball rolling in educating these 'fools' instead of mocking possibly inecent holiday makers....oh and he declined the pro's advance's....i expect that makes him gay as well does it.....

Touch a raw nerve did I ben01? Have you been mugged at 0345 in the morning whilst wearing a thousand dollar gold chain on the streets of Pattaya or Bristol?

I shall not 'start the ball rolling' because a fool cannot be protected from his folly. If you attempt to do so, you will not only arouse his animosity but also you will be attempting to deprive him of whatever benefit he is capable of deriving from experience.

nah....no nerve touched and havent been mugged.

  6. I dont even like cricket but i will be cheering on the aussies to smash the poms and bring the ashes home for another 20 years. I think the poms better go and look at it again because you only got 100 days left. :D

    :o:D:D

the little urn never leaves England......its always at home...!!!!!!!!!!

  7. to further the debate on steven gerrads image you should check out the back pages of the news of the world for a very nasty rant at man utd by him that i couldn't believe got printed

he should be fined by the F.A. for it

his displys on the pitch to show good sportmanship and how one player can turn the game around like in the champions league final are totally negated by this idiotic continuation of the hate between clubs sadly i will never cheer him on ever again

    http://www.newsoftheworld.co.uk/story_page...rt/sport1.shtml

    check out the above link

I notice he doesn't mention the times that man utd's team bus has been stoned and the fans buses that have been attacked with bricks being thrown of bridges thru windows paving slabs dopped on fans cars etc etc

my soon to be ex wife is a lifelong liverpool fan who loves the big S.G. but this sickened her, especially as her cousins told her if i ever came up to watch man utd at anfield i was a dead man

man utd fans have always had a rougue element same as all clubs and yes in the 70's the violence at times was horrific but to promote this still just makes me sick

football becomes less about the beauty of the game the teams and its fans and more about Money and senseless violence with the english paparatzi cuasing and inciting a lot of it themselves

the world cup was quite peaceful and the semi final between germany and italy was a joy to watch then true to form the italians go back to the winning ways of the 30's baiting and fouling to win what should have been a show case match by baiting one of the worlds greatest players till he snapped and did something stupid to get sent off in the final match of his international carear

The story on the back of this "newspaper" was probably taken from his forthcoming autobiography, and he is only giving honest views of what happens.

If this really made you "never to cheer him again" and your lifelong liverpool fan wife feel "sickened" then that is sad.... :o

so is it gerrards fault that this piece was on the back page of a paper...do you think he asked for it..?? :D

    open your eyes......................

  8. Having read a fair few negative comments about the UK visa experiance, especially the interview where the Thai gal gets treated like a 2 bit hooker :D I was just wondering whether a Candid Camera type operation would make interesting viewing.............

for sure it would make interesting viewing.....but as for the ' 2 bit hookers'.....this can be hepled by the way some of them dress for the occasion.....i've seen some that looked like they come straight from their place of work... :o .....also a well organised folder with everything in place goes a long way...........

  9. [. I was told by my sparky friend that if you load your freezers with bread, ice or polystirene foam that it will "half" your elec for the fridge.

fridges work opposite to freezers- a fully loaded freezer will cosume less units, and a fully loaded fridge will use more. Being concious of wasting electric, i installed a switched spur ( off the ring ) next to my bed, feeding a socket that supplies the tv,So last thing at night i can switch off the tv without getting up, and sleep knowing that i'm not wasting electric for hours on end...... :o

  10. Its the beer prices that I am worried about. :D

You might also have noticed over the years that most of the Thais who visit the fest. (said most)dont actually BUY anything..they all tend to bring their own(f&:D hence a bit supprised about earlier comment ref no outside food allowed.

Also have you noticed how many squeeze in /push up to the Chang tent.. :D ...verrry few ...its all the Sarf London boys...init..plus the likes of UZ lot....ex-otic beers..etc....memories of "appy days in cowboy....wivv little Lek :D

I tend to pick up a dozen tins of Carling from the wee paki guys shop just opposite the tube station....good price and he keeps it cold for me (every year)..plus it goes down well with my cheese and onion sandwiches...... :o .....Wot?

how much are the alcoholic beverages' then....??????? :D ,

  11. I think the western men I notice are the tourist men here flaunting their scantily clad thai "grilfriends" around in inappropriate places. Even then it's a glance and I'm on about my business. It seems that when western men arrive here they think anything goes; and even though the thai people seem accepting and may not say anything, but you can bet they are thinking it.

Exactly....when you walk past someone in the street, no-one knows their story. If your walking down the street with a scantily dressed lady, then peoples imagination will run wild, knowing exactly what goes on, will put 2+2 together and normally come out with 5. Everyone has a good 'butchers' at these well dressed women, even the missus and myself will exchange comments / looks.

But people will always ask or wonder, what your story is and unless it is emblazoned across your t-shirt, they will make their own assumption.

  12. It is my first post, although i frequently read articles posted on this forum. I am driven to post my thoughts on the matter of the English man who stabbed his GF to death because i can't believe some of the shades/tones/attitudes of the comments i have read concerning this subject. I am not going to attack anyone individually, but i am disheartened having read that some members are bickering about side issues, such as whether or not the English man should get/do/is/isn't/wasn't/could/couldn't.............bla bla bla! Have some of you forgotten that this man was (i use past tense because his life is technically over) probably someone's father, someone's brother and was once someone's son. How can you look at the photos of the event (which, if you are human, are heartbreaking photos) and continue to castigate and throw around his memory in such a way? Some of you are missing the point. The point is that this man is a human! Yes, he committed a serious crime, but don't judge people on their worst day. Things are not as they appear, people are not what they seem, oneself is not how other people view you.....and the way you view other people is not how they really are behind closed doors. "Waz yer there Charlie? Waz yer there?".

The man was a human! If you can look at those photos and still tell me you have no pity, then you have lost your soul. End of story!

    Best post on here........

At the end of the day, she knew what she was doing.....he didnt. If it was a builder who swindled you out of your life savings ( and we must be talking a few thousand here.), would that make it any different..??? or a con artist who sells a non-existent holiday home...???

By no means do i condone his actions, and age doesnt really come into it, they were both adults, but he was a little stooopid :o

Just hope there are no repercussions.......and a lot of people will learn from this

  13. What I found really hilarious was the way Ben slagged everyone off and then shat his pants and tried to back pedal like crazy but all to no avail!

    Mwhahahahahahaha!

Your laugh sounds evil, Prof! I guess ben832463219477610 deserves it.

    :D:D

I think he must have reviewed his comments yesterday and picked up his book on "How to win friends and influence people". Unfortunately he's dyslexic and picked up "How to be an arse and wind people up" instead :o:D

ahhhhhhh..I see, thats what happens when you wind someone up who cant respond properly.....

    They get personal :D

looks like arguement won..........cant wait until Sunday / Monday....ta..ta...for now

  14. What I found really hilarious was the way Ben slagged everyone off and then shat his pants and tried to back pedal like crazy but all to no avail!

    Mwhahahahahahaha!

Far from it....back pedal :o , wouldnt have thought so......here it is again....the calvary backing up the clique.......brilliant.........surprised it took so long

  15. What a cock Mr Ben.Dover is proving to be.

I'll have you know I'm 4th in the prediction compo so I know everything about football.

Lay off my boys ( predictors ) or I'll have you......

    :o

well well well botty, the only person to lower themselves to direct name calling..............easy when hid behind a computer screen....... :D

    shame on you....

  16. Well your a little naive if you think the decision was made a few days before the world cup.....can just imagine sven losing sleep, perspiring thinking about his team / squad selection :o:D

Congrats on starting the topic...you've done well :D , but you took the muppets comment to heart, if you werent spilling the 'quoted statements' and you follow your footy, then there was no need for you to 'get off your high one'...........

  17. cant wait for the footy to finish so all the 'little managers' can go back into hiding for another 2/4 years..........its easy to see through the majority of people's comments on here, they are just reciting comments & statisics from papers, tv etc.....quite sad really......muppets :o

Really? If it wasn't for the TV and actually watching these games, how else would one form an opinion; clairvoyance?... :D

hey....easy tiger......people are too quick to listen to reporters, read papers etc. and not make there own assumption of whats actually happening.......forming your own opinion as you mentioned comes from doing exactly that, not being swayed into believing what you are hearing...

the best way would be, to watch the game with thai commentry so you would be able to judge the game soley through your own eyes.. :D:D:D:D

  18. I think in cases like this, FIFA should allow the team to bring back one of their original squad (before it was cut down to 23). We all want the best players there.

not the best players if they missed the cut....... :D ....now thats constructive!!

First of all Ben, learn how to use your quote buttons :o

Second, what isn't constructive? They must have been one of the best, to have been in the initial squad. It's just that the manager HAD to choose only 23, therefore, he RELUCTANTLY had to send some home.

Thirdly, you still haven't said anything worthy on this "discussion" forum. So i stand by my initial remark, <deleted> off to another forum....muppet :D

calm down bj, people can discuss this topic all day and will always agree to disagree. I actually reckon you yourself, havent said anything worthy on this topic. Sven didnt reluctantly send anyone home, the decision was made a while ago, they were going out with the team regardless. This is what Sven is paid to do....he wont lose any sleep over it.....

maybe one day i will learn to use my keypad properly..... :D:D
