  1. I was hit from behind by a drunk driver driving a Commer Van in 1971, and have been suffering constant pain and hardship ever since, my daily struggle to survive has always been worsened by the constant pain, which greatly restricts what I can do at any given moment... The consequences of selfish and inconsiderate drunk drivers on innocent people's lives is usually only ever suffered by their victims. 😞 Not only are innocent lives lost by drunk drivers, many innocent victims suffer for the rest of their lives, and like me, have never been able to live a normal life... pain dictates EVERYTHING in my life, and has done now for 53 years...! 😞 It's NOT FAIR that innocent people suffer the consequences of selfish and inconsiderate drunk drivers...!!!! 😞 So although many of you will disagree with me on this, I believe that drunk drivers should be put in prison for this very selfish crime.... And repeat offenders who have absolutely no regard for other people's safety should never be released...!
  2. Sugar and grains are pretty much the quickest way to add kilos/pounds, and yes, not moving much speeds up the weight gain...! I left Thailand in 2016, after living there for 3.5 years, I saw quite a lot of obese kids, and I saw what they ate (my wife's little shop was less then 100M from the school in her village)... sugar is definitely a huge (pun intended) problem in Thailand now...! ????
  3. If you can't defend yourself, your family or your property, without fear of prosecution, then humanity will continue to fail, and the criminals will ALWAYS win...!!! If criminals continue to get away with committing crimes, then obviously they will continue committing crimes....!!! If punishment is swift and very severe, then only the stupidest criminals will continue to commit crimes, and if they continue committing crimes and get caught, then locking them up for a very long time will solve many problems...! If this criminal gets beat up for breaking the law, and if he didn't go to hospital quick enough after being beaten up while committing a crime, AND if he refused to be fed through a tube to help save his life, then HE is responsible for his own death...!!!
  4. Yep, if they make the choice to drive while drunk, then they chose ALL of the possible consequences associated with driving while drunk, so killing someone while deliberately choosing to drive while drunk is effectively murder...!!!
  5. I agree, even 5 years in is jail isn't really enough, but at least it would be a step in the right direction...! I was hit by a drunk driver in Australia in 1972, and I have been in debilitating pain since that night... 50 years of suffering, not having much enjoyment in life, not being able to do much physical activity at all, just because a man thought that he was a hero for being able to drive home drunk...!!! ????
