  1. There is another station on 3rd road, just North of Klang by a few hundred meters on the ocean side of the road. Direct service. Very nice.

If you don't mind, the best bet is to go to Morchit and change there. Much quicker.

The Nakornchai Air bus terminal has direct silver and gold class bus service direct to Khon Keon. They may even have online booking...the bus info and schedule is certainly on their website. The terminal is just to the right of the top of Central Road on Sukhumvit.

thanks for help can you get a bus from pattaya to morchit

  2. Thinking of taking advantage of LGW to BKK via HCMC vietnam air low fare. There is one little draw back and that is the 9 hour wait in transit on return journey (economy) any info on facilities or day rooms would be appreciated. Also I read last months topic by ROY requesting info on long haul flights with air vietnam has any one flown with them since then

  3. Please settle arguement is Guinness brewered in in the Thai Amarit Brewwery Bangkok if not where in the Far East is it brewered as I cant believe they ship in from Dublin

  4. A few years ago there was a scam at a very well known hotel in Pattaya which catered for tourist groups. You would buy your postcards in the hotel and ask reception to post them on so they would sell you your stamps and say they would stamp them and post them (which never happened) when you got home and found out no postcards had arrived it was to late to do anything about it. (Iwish i was involved nice little earner)

  5. You are correct When I went in to the army in the early 60s. you had to have served in another regiment for at least 3 years and the you could apply to transfer I also think that if you were a corporal and transfered to SAS you reverted to trooper does any one know if your pay went down. I thought of applying to take SAS training until I was told you had to jump out of an airplane I chickened out and done 25 years in another regiment

  6. I have just returned from a 2 weeek holiday in Pattaya and I did not realise there was so many ex special forces personel living in thailand I met up with 5 ex SAS 2 SBS and a couple ex paras and even one 24ish ex SAS and SBS he served in both regiments. I served in the british army for over 25 years and I remember my reimental number but not one of these blokes would tell me there number saying it not allowed . Has any one else met any of these blokes.
