How do you know that it was the elite bought this land and not just a bunch of greedy upstarts with a lot of political influence? Your point is valid up to a point; However, you're not asking the important questions. The who, what, when, where, why and how of it all.

Now consider a high speed train from Bangkok to almost nowhere with an almost unlimited budget and absolutely no accountability for where the funds would have gone. Think further: Who's the head honcho in those rice fields up there where such an extravagance would be built. Consider still: Who proposed and tried to pass such a bill? I'd say the greedy upstarts with a lot of political influence.

You'd be well served to drop the term "elite" from your vocabulary. You can't define it and you don't know what it means.

I agree there should be a neutral PM, but no way can it be anyone who is picked by Suthep or the PTP, and no amnesty for those who are facing arrest warrants. Suthep is crazy if anyone thinks he is going to have any say in a new government.

Why are they not reporting the size of the crowd? You also got to remember that over 1,000 are body guards (w/ weapons) and should not be posted in the tally. We wouldn't want paid protesters counted now would we.

And if they don't pay it back what's going to happen? Farmer protest? Suthep protest? The monk buys a rice mill? EC yellow card them?

Do you really think Suthep would come to a news studio without his 1,000 guards, he be arrested on the spot. Why not a live Skype debate between Suthep and the man in Dubai. Now that would get high ratings for Channel 3.

Actually this is a joke. As if they pulled the trigger. The Army is responsible for the killing. Give them a weapon and they will fire it at anything. But I would love to see a picture of Suthep and Abhisit in orange PJ's with hand and legs cuffs on.

I'm sure you people can figure a way to handles these small problems. Easy pass should be available on all troll ways including airport parking.

Of course what they did was peaceful protest, nothing illegal about dumping a few tons of rice at the entrance to a government office. God bless the Thai court system for they fairness
