Oh really!!!! when i got my re-entry b4 leaving i asked the woman what i do if i get a new passport whilst in uk,she said just bring both passports in and they will change over stamp...

/same question,,,but now april 2018......i have an extention of stay in thailand till december 2018,,,i am in uk at the moment returning to thailand 6th may 2018...i have a new passport just issued,,upon arrival at bkk what happens?do i just get a stamp in then go to my local immigration office and get my visa put into my new passport.do i neeed to go to bangkok for some documents,stamps??????anybody that knows deffinatly what to do i would be very gratefull.regards Dave..#

Thanks everyone...i now have my new passport,i asked the passport office if i needed a letter from them to give to pattaya immigration and they said no..i phoned thai embassey in london if i needed anything and they said just take both passports to my local immigration and they will change over my visa?????

thankyou...I have been to fords twice but each time they reset engine reset gearbox and say ok..but the noise is still there..don't know what to do.

hi trasam...what it is as I drive and it changes gear I get a noise like eerg,but I went to fords and they reset my gearbox twice,but still there,,I was told u must change the drive shaft bearings after 100,00km?? so I am putting the noise down to this???/plus I was told the noise when I drive off [which sounds like a bag full of bottle tops in a bag being shacken]is a noisy oil pump??? be gratefull if u could shed some light on these problems for me..cheers

Hi,,,I have an 8 yr old daughter too,i have taken her to uk 5 times never had a problem...she has both passports,out on the thai in uk on the british,coming bk uk then thai on entry ....I do have a letter of consent plus birth cert which has my name on it,but never used either.....we leave for uk again next month,hopefully no problems...

Why are you talking about  taking vehicles bk to uk?sell them here u get more money for them,then buy the same vehicle in uk and still have money left over,,cheaper in uk ..cost of shipping all the paperwork,,then come to sell and get a fraction of what u paid,no brainer!!!!

I have my ex wifes daughter living with me and our daughter together,,10 yr and 6 yr...the 10 yr old came from udon 1 n half yr ago,,she has learnt a lot but trying to get her to eat nice is difficult,she holds her spoon and fork near the end so not much control,plus she has to fill the spoon with food b4 trying to put it in her mouth,thus having to eat with her mouth open and making a noise,,i have to tell her all the time I don't know why it doesn't sink in,even my 6 yr old tells her to stop making a noise,,she also does the tutting and turning away when you tell her off or try to exsplain something to her...just have to percivere and keep exsplaining thing to them...

sorry,i tried and hit a brick wall too..i was told u have to go thru the whole process..

I did say licences,both 5 yr ones..will do them then at the same time I tax my car,8th may,and just pay my bike tax late if there is no penalties...thanks everyone...

Hi I am going to uk for 7wks from 17th march,my motorcycle is due taxing 19th april what do I do as I am not returning to Thailand till 6th may...oh my car needs taxing 8th may can I renew my driving licenses at the same time or am I to early?

Hi Joe,,just to let you know,i went to the hospital and they did an official letter for me to say I had been sick and couldn't attend immigration,when I got to immigration this morning I gave him my passport and when he saw I had missed my report date he said you must pay,,i showed him the letter from hospital and he didn't want to know,he said I should have come earlier,,i said I didn't know I was going to catch dengue fever or I would have,,ha ha...then he said I should have got someone to go for me,i told him I was very sick and didn't think about immigration,,he said must pay 5000 thb,he showed me the fine on a form,,failier to report 5000thb so I knew he wasn't just trying it on...I just kept saying sorry and I didn't know I could send someone to report for me,i told him I had renewed my extention of stay on the 1st dec 2014,,why 90 day not start then?/ I was trying everything,desperation setting in,the office was packed,[jomtien] in the end he said I will help you this time but next time you have to pay,,,YES RESULT,,,i know I am very lucky,first time ever I have got away without paying a thai when they have said 'you must pay'...

Anyway happy ending,,,,might have one of those now...ha ha....thanks for your comments joe....

thanx joe..I have had dengue fever for the past 3 wks so I will go to the hospital and ask if he will give me a letter for immigration to say I was sick,if that doesn't work I will just pay the 2000...thanx again....
