  1. She's a reformed MAGA zealot airhead. I never liked nor respected her but at least now the penny has dropped and she sees Trump for what he is she is speaking out. I'm loving it because the more she exposes him the more chance there is that she's going to awaken some of the other zombies from their deep sleep. Go you good thing! She's got bigger balls than most of the men in the MAGA cult combined.
  2. The middle power movement is surging ahead. This is an opportunity for Thailand to join the procession. Strength in numbers, diversity in markets and no more subservient reliance on US trade. Carney is showing us a better, more dignified way forward that doesn’t require bending the knee and kissing the hand that is about to screw you over. The more oil Canada can divert away from the US the sooner we can expect a fairer and sustainable trading network without tyrannical unhinged leaders imposing constant trade barriers on friendly allies. This is the world’s chance to break the US dominance and their insane attempts to reshape trade to, entirely, their own benefit.
  3. Trump has no loyalty to anyone but himself. Bestie does not exist in his vocabulary.
  4. Low life. Off with their hands and any custodial sentence to commence only after their victims have been recompensed in full.
  5. Don't bring a knife to a gunfight. It ain't gonna end well. This guy was his own worst enemy. If he hadn't, needlessly, been brandishing a knife this may have ended differently for him. You live by the sword, you die by the sword. He died needlessly but mainly as a result of his own poor decisions.
  6. Yeah yeah yeah....... Talk is cheap and corruption is ingrained. I think I know what is going to happen here.
  7. Updates of the operating system should not be the only consideration. Updates and maintenance of passwords on a regular basis needs regular consideration. I recently lost my phone on Ko Samet and it caused me all sorts of worries as there was a lot of information on it that I was worried might might fall into the wrong hands. I had, what I considered to be strong passwords but there are smarter people than me out there. Apple shut down all access to any cards I had in the wallet from that particular phone. The banks were able to do the same. I changed all my passwords to something even stronger and crossed my fingers. I was alerted to it's whereabouts a week later when someone turned it on in Cambodia and I nearly sh!t myself. Cambodia is Scam Central. My nephew is an IT guru and was able to send them a direct message warning them the phone was reported stolen and that a reward for it's return was on offer. They turned it off almost immediately. It's now been 20 days since then and no more alerts. The message I'm trying to convey is that, if like me, you keep a lot of personal information on your phone don't take it's security lightly. Keep on top of it. As an aside, there are certain banking apps linked to my home country accounts that I cannot download from Thailand and I have to wait until my return before I can fully re-establish my bank platforms back to what they were.
  8. Not much chance of any major constitutional changes if this any indication of things to come. It'll be cosmetic at best. There will be no shift from the status quo.
  9. I'll bet she's married and you've been milked to financial death. I suspect she was your emotional rock and you were played from the beginning. If you don't walk away from it now you deserve everything you get. This is a typical playbook scenario and likely you are just one of many suckers she is playing. Move on and don't look back.
  10. Good luck. I recently spent 90 days in Thailand using visa exempt and a 30 day extension. I then exited for 30 expecting no issues on return but I was pulled aside and questioned quite intensively. They asked to see my outbound ticket, my finances and explained in no uncertain terms that they are enforcing the new immigration policy and if I am in country for 90 days then I can't return for at least 90 days. In your case, 70 days. Luckily for me my Thai wife was able to explain that we had returned to attend her nephew's wedding in February and had not yet decided on a flight date out. I am sure that without her input I would have not been allowed entry. To answer your question I believe you will be challenged on reentry and face a high possibility of being turned back. I was one of about 20 passengers they had pulled aside. I was also told 150 days in a calender year was all you are allowed using visa exempt. BE WARNED!!!
