I am so sick and tired of all this superstitious hocus pocus nonsense in Thailand. When will Thailand ever grow up and join the 20th century?
Yes, I know it is now the 21st century, but for Thailand even joining the 20th century would be a major step forward.
Anything after 600 years would be a step forward!

"Police said he was suffering from mental problems and had been drinking." That may be the reason but it is NOT an excuse
He should also be charged with drink driving!

I have "Miss" tattooed on mine. When a girl asks me why, I just say hang on to it for a moment and you will know why - "Mississippi"

They do, I have not had any problems with soi dogs, even though some have looked menacing at night. I am a dog lover, so no dramas.
Generally, dogs sense whether you are scared of them or not. I've never had a soi dog even bark at me! I too love dogs.

Please point out where I infer that DM is better. I didn't mention DM as that would be off topic. Duh!
Did you not see my question mark at the end of the first sentence?
Please don't get your knickers in a knot.

Legalize cannabis and see lower deaths from other drugs, as has been the case in the US and EU.
I don't think that farang thinking is acceptable to Thai authorities. They still want to invent their own wheel!
Personally I think decriminalisation is better then you still get to prosecute pedlars of death and misery (and not small time users).

Not going to help me identify her - I was bought up on the practice of doing "it" in the missionary position.
But, then again, it could be an excuse to retrain myself?

Get more of them these Chinese zero spending tourists on here to get the tourist numbers up for end of year reports
I bet Kobkarn is all over that one, like a rash!

Easily punishable - break his other leg and throw him in prison for a while!

Nonce is just slang for paedophile.
Okay with your thought but really more than just a pedophile. But let's not get bogged down in semantics, the criminal needs a long term of imprisonment PLUS a very large financial restitution to the victim and her family.
Don't worry about the 'reputation' of the school - it is NOT the school's fault but the authorities/people who administer the school!

Technically he's correct about this being a foreign import - the results of Frankfurt School Marxist thinking which sought to corrode and debase western society and culture in order to implement their socialist utopia.

Maybe not "politically correct" but too bad.

Well this will be interesting. A school director being a nonce. How will they cover this one up?
I look forward to the PM commenting on this while talking about Thailand's unique morals.
I agree entirely. A country full of corruption and child abuse and the PM talks about some girl gyrating on stage and then blaming farang!
Perhaps many TV readers do not have English as their first language and maybe not understand 'nonce'? May I ask your indulgence, in explaining that a 'nonce' is a sexual pariah (a person not accepted in a normal society)?

The "ostrich" has spoken?

"He said serious crimes including rape resulted from such seductive behaviour and the problem should be tackled at the root cause." My italics.
Sheesh is this guy real? With all the violence shown on Thai TV! Rape is another form of violence!

I wonder how long before this is put down to "old information" or a "misunderstanding". I'm not surprised though, as Swampy is a dump.
Inferring Don Mueang is better? Duh!
Personally, I've never had a problem with Swampy in the last nine years.

And nobody's reported a missing daughter?
A good point, but if she had been "sold" would her parent/s report her missing? I hope this is not the scenario.

Just lucky that she was back in a proper position and not still grabbing for her documents; that would have killed her instantly thanks to the belt.
And your point is? Seat belts can kill? They save more than they kill.
If she had been grabbing her documents without her seat belt, she would likely have died!

Nothing in it for them. So two speeding, possibly drunk girls will be allowed back on to the road unchecked? Thai policing eh?
yes, but.............
They will probably never do it again and perhaps their injuries are punishment enough?

The word routine is what concerns me.

Such dancing is of far more concern to the PM than corruption within Thai society (particularly in the RTP and many other Government departments/agencies)? More important than the horrendous annual road trauma?
OMG! Perhaps the word 'priorities' does not have a Thai language equivalence?
But, I guess it is always newsworthy and easy when cutting off low hanging fruit from a decaying tree.

Drivers kill, NOT vehicles and until the Government accepts that and does something about it, nothing will change!
RIP to those killed and I hope a full and speedy recovery to those injured.

Yup, pay them for attendance NOT for who they are! Otherwise they have a sense of "entitlement" and will not really give a damn about the job (just there to collect the money)!
