Totally wrong, I am against this if you have a job and get paid for it you have to be there. Then don't give them the job.. only pay them when they are there.

Clear sign of nepotism.. bad show Junta.. hypocrisy

Yup, pay them for attendance NOT for who they are! Otherwise they have a sense of "entitlement" and will not really give a damn about the job (just there to collect the money)!

Legalize cannabis and see lower deaths from other drugs, as has been the case in the US and EU.

I don't think that farang thinking is acceptable to Thai authorities. They still want to invent their own wheel!

Personally I think decriminalisation is better then you still get to prosecute pedlars of death and misery (and not small time users).

Nonce is just slang for paedophile.

Okay with your thought but really more than just a pedophile. But let's not get bogged down in semantics, the criminal needs a long term of imprisonment PLUS a very large financial restitution to the victim and her family.

Don't worry about the 'reputation' of the school - it is NOT the school's fault but the authorities/people who administer the school!

Well this will be interesting. A school director being a nonce. How will they cover this one up?

I look forward to the PM commenting on this while talking about Thailand's unique morals.

I agree entirely. A country full of corruption and child abuse and the PM talks about some girl gyrating on stage and then blaming farang! :post-4641-1156693976:

Perhaps many TV readers do not have English as their first language and maybe not understand 'nonce'? May I ask your indulgence, in explaining that a 'nonce' is a sexual pariah (a person not accepted in a normal society)?

Just lucky that she was back in a proper position and not still grabbing for her documents; that would have killed her instantly thanks to the belt.

And your point is? Seat belts can kill? They save more than they kill.

If she had been grabbing her documents without her seat belt, she would likely have died!

  6. Such dancing is of far more concern to the PM than corruption within Thai society (particularly in the RTP and many other Government departments/agencies)? More important than the horrendous annual road trauma?

OMG! Perhaps the word 'priorities' does not have a Thai language equivalence?  :whistling:

But, I guess it is always newsworthy and easy when cutting off low hanging fruit from a decaying tree.
