I have had a licenced copy of MS Office 2007 ......well since 2007 lol
never needed anything else, I use Excel Word and Outlook (for email) a robust and sturdy package that has served me flawlessly for a very long time through multiple machines
Plus installation of MS Compatibility Pack (to read four letter file extensions for later versions of Office programs) that maybe sent to you?
I upgraded from a licensed Office 2007 to a licensed full version of Office 2013 (because I was able to purchase at a friendly price as a student). I am among the world's oldest students!

Here is how to solve the problem Charge each visitor 250 baht for their visit to Thailand as medical insurance If there are 30 million vacationers that ads up to
75,000,000 baht More than enough to cover the costs the hospitals incur from vacationers
This is not rocket science But will the Thais implement such a scheme? Likely not . The reason is simple . Its too logical

And it is farang idea - not really welcome here, unfortunately.

Both drivers are in the wrong. Motorcycle rider was going too fast and on the wrong side of the road. The Cop did not look in his direction as he was not expecting anyone to be on the wrong side of the road to be coming in his direction. The motorcycle rider should get the higher penalty for being stupid and speeding.
What speed was the motorcycle doing? Breaking the speed restrictions was he? I could not read his speedometer.
Stupid maybe but speeding?

I believe they are trying to steer people towards cloud storage so they can get their hands on your stuff
Could be.
Anyone who uses Cloud Storage takes a grave risk - what if you cannot access the "cloud" for various reasons e.g. no internet, Cloud is down?
Who you going to call - Ghost Busters?

Accidents are a mentality problem in this country! That is not going to change overnight. Therefore, in the short term, it makes sense to reduce the trauma effects of accidents. Reducing speeds is not the total answer, no more than the PM's idea of removing 50% of public vans! It does not address the core issues. Window dressing does not work.

No money in it mate.
I'd like to know who these people are... tourists or ex pats or what?
Charge virtually the same premium and they would be creaming it.

Another way to System Restore (apart from using the Settings icon) is thru Windows Key+X | Control Panel | Recovery. Choose "Configure System Restore" to create new Restore Point.
Why the hell MS turns off System Restore for Win 10 (and continues to hide File Extensions) I can never fathom out!

How very true. Even the airlines won't insure you for travel only, once you are 75.
I've been zapped twice through faulty electrical wiring, wrecked a pair of expensive glasses on a Chiang Mai footpath pothole, gave up the m/bike 2 years ago. It's never boring!!
The airlines could insure for events other than sickness, if they wanted to be flexible in taking your $ !
Give people a choice!
If Thai hospitals (for public services) are going broke then central Government needs to revise their funding arrangements. Don't ask a dedicated health service to cut back on normal services that also affect local peoples!

<deleted> does UAL have to do with this. Pure and simple bias by the media. The airline industry world wide has it head stuck up its A#$.
Just showing that Air Canada were not the first idiots to do this.
BUT it seems they may have been the first idiots not to learn from United! Some CEOs act like ostriches with their heads buried in the sand.

At least they can say they've made an arrest in the case.
Anyone else want to complain about it? Didn't think so. No sit down, and shut up.
More reconciliation you'll love, or else.
No let's see if they can make this thing disappear? Get David Copperfield on the horn.
For sale: One monument to democracy, very low mileage, only taken out occasionally, no longer needed, quick sale required, funds needed for tanks, subs and another salary increase for the NCPO.
Who is the owner of the Democracy monument? Just saying/thinking.............

Cop should not proceed unless it was clear to do so! He was blindsided by vehicle on his right and should not have proceeded until the way was clear (visible to him)! Same applies to ANYONE. 99% cop fault, 1% other motorcyclist (not riding defensively).

What do you have to change to make the computer boot from a USB stick with Linux ?
And is there a way to back-up all your Windows 10 settings automatically before a new Windows update which might screw up your computer ?
as they said in the Army , never volunteer , and thats what I think about automatic windows 10 upgrades , wait and see if the upgrade has problems before letting it install...
Change the boot sequence so that USB is first in line.
Set up a restore point before completing any updates.
Was never any need to "volunteer" in the armed forces - the NCO in charge would say: "You, you and you are volunteers."

All smoke and mirrors as an official cover-up! Ownership does not matter (ownership is with the peoples of Thailand)! That is just a bulls hit excuse for not doing anything.
The original plaque represented a defining moment in Thai history.
Someone, who does not wish to be identified, is trying to rewrite/change history. Who could that be?
The man who is in power because he believes in democracy, should step up and demand the original plaque be returned to its rightful place, to show that he is indeed a true supporter of democracy. Actions speak louder than words.

why is it that they keep making one ridiculous rule after the other ?
The "authorities" love the attention it gets them, makes them feel important and they hope it will impress others. The reality is that it seems to be ridiculous people making ridiculous rules. No idea how to use critical thinking in solving perceived problems.

Control NOT banning is the answer!

Why did the guy mouth off at the passenger? Have a go, if you must, at the driver. A really bad call. But he didn't deserve the "beating" he got. The car is identified, if the driver or owner cannot give up the passenger then they can pay the fine and compensatory medical costs. But will we ever know - it is only two farang.

Very selective Mr PM.
I guess he needs some good news (maybe craving for it). Winning a battle does not win the war!

Fyi most Americans are horribly skilled drivers most cant even properly park a car after obtaining their driver license in the USA.So to demand higher speed in Thailand with hardly any skills to back this up seems insane!!
I am not a supporter of higher speed limits (that is for the state to decide) but I do support better education of riders (this includes lessons of accountability and responsibility), tougher licence testing and TOUGH enforcement that has a future deterrent effect (hopefully) for those guilty of breaking the road rules.
In the meantime, ride safely, defensively, expect the unexpected and ride to live to enjoy the experience.

On highway max 100-120 km than all other roads 50-70 km.just like all other vehicles.speed kills!
Speed does not kill - it merely increases the severity of the accident - driving/riding too fast for the conditions (plus not wearing safety gear) is what kills.
Think(!) about motorcyclist doing 20km/h in a 50km/h or 100km/h zone, wet road, comes off bike hits head against concrete curb and dies (now or later), it wasn't speeding that killed him. "Speed kills" is just a catchy slogan used by people to explain why they hate those who break the law.
