  1. Hi, I have an METV visa and I will need to soon to fly to cambodia and come back to thailand to stamp the second entry. Could you please tell me if it's possible to do in the same day? I have nothing to do in Cambodia, I just want to fly there and fly back to Thailand on the same day a few hours after i arrive? is that allowed? or i need to stay 1-2 days in cambodia? thank you.
  2. Thank you. yes, it might be useful in the future or else just getting another proper tourist visa in a thai embassy in Laos for example.
  3. thank you. what does border bounce mean? like getting a visa on arrival?
  4. I have multiple entry tourist visa, entering Thailand again will be my second entry. So possible in the same day? Or better stay in Singapore for 1-2 nights?
  5. Thank you all for your comments. For the purpose of getting a stamp I'd assume that technically it would also be possible to arrive and leave Singapore in the same day, right?
  6. wow! thank you for the detailed information. are taxis also expensive there?
  7. Hi, I have an Israeli passport with METV living at Koh Phangan currently, I'll have to leave Thailand at the end of January to get my second entry. I was thinking to apply the easiest option and fly directly from Samui to Singapore and come back the day after. has anyone visited Singapore recently and can confirm it's possible? also, regarding Covid 19 - i understood that non vaccinated (my case) require to show Covid test upon entering. anything else? i read something about Covid 19 travel insurance? would i need this even if come there only for 24 hours or so? if so, how do i get that in Thailand? Thank you.
  8. I understood they were temporarily scrapped at airports but not land borders. still the question remains - will they ask me for this form at the immigration? thanks.
  9. Thank you. if I enter Laos, don't I have to pay for a laos visa? I remember in the past going to udon thani from surat thani to make a single tourist visa in Vientiane border and to enter Laos i had to pay for a Laos visa. is it the same with border you're talking about or not?
  10. Hi, I have an Israeli passport with METV visa, I'm currently on my first entry which will end in the last days of December and then I'll extend for 30 days in the local immigration where I'm at (Koh Phangan). but after that I'll need to leave Thailand and come back again to get a stamp for the 2nd entry. I used to be able to do it in Ranong/Myanmar (can't go to Malaysia because of my Israeli passport) but I don't know if this is still a possibility. if not, is there any other border close by I could go to and do it without spending too much money? Thank you.
  11. Hi, Israeli passport here, I have an METV visa, I'm on my first entry now which will expire on the end of December, then I will extend for another 30 days at the immigration and after that i have to leave the country and come back to apply the 2nd entry. my question is - do i need to make this 90 days report (online or physical) or is it not needed with this type of visa? Thank you!
  12. thanks for all the answers. seems for tv the best and most comfortable way is getting this thai tv box, seems it costs 1900 baht. does anyone know a cheaper option? and do i need anything else than wifi connection+power to connect it to tv and make it work?
  13. Hey, I have a smarttv with Internet connection. What would be the best way to watch the world cup games (either free or paid)? Thank you!
  14. Wow, very useful information, thank you very much. may i ask as well - when I look at international flights to Chiang Mai they all seem to have a stop in Bangkok airport - does that mean I will be checked there at immigration or in Chaing Mai? also, what about flying to Koh Samui? (again most flights seem to pass through bangkok) - are the officials there problematic or more loose like Chiang Mai? Thank you!
  15. Thank you! So I guess getting a proper thai tourist visa from an embassy with my current passport will be the best option, right?
  16. Wow, sorry to hear about that unpleasant experience. Glad you and your family made it in the end. Anyone else has a feedback? Thanks.
