  1. BANG SUE RAILWAY STATION

Has anybody received a vaccine passport or other paperwork with a 13 digit code etc. from BANG SUE Railway Station Vaccine Centre.

After our first Az jab we got a A4 paper with our next appointment date on it,   a friend who just got the second Jab there did not receive a certificate and has only the stamped appointment slips.

  2. I do not know, but ask your partner to contact the bank  and ask if a Power of Attorney, Limited to this function only and a signed copy of your passport which will have to be sent by post/courier.

    Try First

It maybe that you have too many pages for them to handle, why not remove the bulk of the pages and  re-staple the last two recent pages then try at another branch as it could just be that particular bank teller.

Unfortunately the bank branches make their own rules or their own interpretation of the same rules.

    T.I.T   GOOD LUCK

  3. If you leave Thailand on your Thai passport and then enter UK on the British Passport all is well for UK

However, if you return to Thai and try and use your Thai passport for entering surely Immigration are going to ask where have you been as you have no other stamps in your passport after leaving Thailand.

A British friend who had got Thai citizenship, Passport, ID etc used to get a Visa from the British Embassy easily done as he held dual nationality  and held a valid  Brit passport, he left Thailand on his THAI passport and entered UK on his Thai passport, if he went to another country from UK he left on his Brit passport and returned on his Brit passport.

( This was solely as it was much easier to travel around Europe USA using the Brit Passport)

He only used his Thai passport to leave the UK on his final return to Thailand,

Convoluted but he was always legal this way.

This was at least 10 yrs ago and things do change.

Jomtien want  the letter/statement same day  and a transaction shown in the bank book same day.

    Jomtien Office

I did my Extension based on retirement on the 15th May the officer said he would accept a bank Letter and statement valid for three days. My Bank is only in Bangkok does not have a Bank Book.

When I went beforehand the week before the same officer said it was only valid for one day ie Get the letter today and its still good for the next day.

T.I.T always check beforehand and then use the same officer.

  5. I did my extension of stay at Pattaya Jomtien Immigration office on the 15th May. Along with other normal paperwork I was handed a A4 sized page  of the new requirements of 800k Two months before and 3 months after the date of application. Which I had to sign and give back to them.

With all the paperwork and questions being asked I had not realised that the officer had photocopied this signed page,  kept the original and handed a copy back to me but with a stamp on the bottom of the page stating I had to show my Bank Book again on the 11th August.

With a tourist visa issued by the embassy it be a 60 day entry by air or land.

Note thought that the land entry would need to be at a permanent crossing where immigration is at. Mae Sot or Mae Sai for example.

Thanks , she was planning to use Mae Sai as that is nearest to her home, we hope she has no problems on the way out, Burmese side should be okay as she has her ID etc.

Not sure about that. The 2 weeks sounds like a 14 day visa exempt entry if she was to enter by air.

If she was to apply for a tourist visa at the Thai embassy in Yangon it would allow the standard 60 day entry that can be extended for 30 days.

No sure what the requirements are for a Myanmar citizen to marry a Thai. I am sure the local Amphoe can provide info. For a foreigner to marry a Myanmar citizens was complicated in the past since the Myanmar embassy would not issue a affirmation of permit to marry a foreigner since it was against the law but that may of changed now.

For marriage to Thai man there would be no financial proof needed for her to apply for a extension of stay. Her husband would need to show some proof of income but not that great amount and that can vary from office to office.

    General requirements are here. https://www.immigration.go.th/content/service_18

Thanks UbonJoe for your precise and clear information,

I have time to arrange things so I will begin with the local Amphoe but I have to tread carefully due to her current Thai Status.

I will get my friend to check with the Thai Embassy in Yangon exactly what they are willing to issue.

She would initially be going back via a Northern Thai Land crossing as her family are in that area, this is where my son originally met her.

If she returned via Land would this change the 60 day Visa.?

ie Does she only get 60 days if she comes in by Air.

    Thanks

Thai Visa, by marriage for a Burmese Woman (23) to marry a Thai Man (25)

My Thai son has a Burmese Girlfriend (4 yrs)  they now have a Baby son (5 months old).

The boy was born in a Thai hospital here, and has full hospital papers,  he has a Thai Birth certificate with the Thai Father and Burmese Mothers name on it.

The Father and Boy are NOW registered at the same address with the Father being the legal House Master.

Once the Mother stops breast feeding (approx. Sept-Nov 2019) she will go back to Burma and get a New Burmese passport and Thai Visa.

I have been informed that this Visa may be only of two weeks duration due to the new passport. On the Second application a 2 months would be given. (At the moment the Burmese paperwork requirements are clear and a Burmese friend would help her there in Rangoon for the passport / visa)

The girl will then legally return to Thailand and try and legalize her situation here.

They intend to marry as soon as she arrives at the local Amphur.

Does anybody know of the requirement for this?

Once married what paperwork would be required for immigration to give her an extension of stay due to marriage to a Thai National.

Any advice would be appreciated.  Thank You

As the Baby is now already Thai I will try at a future date to get him Burmese Nationality to give him the choice to live/work in either country when he is older.

Any advice/experiences with this last scenario would be appreciated but its not urgent.

    Thank You

  9. Subject "Black listed OVER 15 years ago.

My friend was convicted for a sexual offence some 15Plus years ago with a person under the age of 18 ( actual was 17 yrs and 10 mths) but legally of course under 18.

He was convicted, served no time, was deported and "Black Listed"

My friend was borderline Alcoholic at the time so quite honestly it was the best thing that happened for him.

Now we ( his friends) are interested if there is a chance he would be allowed back into the country.

How long is the "Blacklist in force?    Is it a life time Blacklisting?

Is there a LEGAL Government Dept who can issue this information?

    If Not

Has anybody got a RELIABLE agent   and costs.

We have his name and date of birth, His old passport has long exprired but I suspect his details are still on the Thai Data Base computer.

Due to my friends health he would NOT to return to live here full time, but MAY like to have two months away from the worst of the UK winter Mid Jan - Mid March.

We would advise him to get a Tourist Visa,

I understand that the Embassy don't normally hold records on "Black listed people  so any visa does NOT give him a right to enter the country,

He would travel via a LAND border crossing as if he is then denied he can just turnaround and stay in that country.

Any help an good advice would be appreciated.

Can the usual idiots who reply to these sort of requests try and control themselves and refrain from replying.

    Thank You

What I am interested in is "Has anybody got some actual experience using this or similar devices. Their is a switch that is fitted inside the car to enable you to switch back to other fuel if E85 is not available. Thanks in advance
