Well the end to this story is all most here now. About 2 years ago i was gonna post that we got married already and that we live in Australia happily every after. Well................was like that for a long time but things have gone North in the last 6 months, she started getting abit more kang with me and not so sweet, its a long story obviously so I digress. She found some one loi who is crazy about her and will buy her a new benz.
I walk away much smarter and happy in away that its over now and not in another 5 years. I got out financially alright as im not rich (i was younger and ok looking) and he's gonna buy everything for her so all good. She still is one of the most beautiful Thai girls ive ever seen but really she is a naughty girl. This new guy is green as, he has never known a Thai or been to Thailand, she is gonna clean him out ????
Too long to tell all now but may later.
Sad for the Kids as they have become awesome and I love them so much and are really proud of how they have devolved, the daughter asked her mum to live with me but i cant. Life is crazy really.
She got PR through me too.
Edit btw it wasnt a scam in the end. Just her ex was trying to get his sinsod back. He didnt want to sign the divorce papers till he got it, he ended up signing them though.

My girl posts on facebook even if we have a minor quarrel. I find it abit irritating as I don't feel one should tell the world when you have a disagreement. Of course I loose face too.
I'd never take to her with a pestal that's brutal and deranged. RiP

Hello, my ku man and I are planning to apply for a PMV visa to australia. A complacation has a risen pertaining to her 2 children aged under 8. When she divorced to her husband she granted custody of the children to her ex as he is quite well of financially and thought he could take care of them best. To keep a lomy story short she basically takes care of them now and he is ok with them going to live in Aus.
My question is for the purpose of migration to Aus will she have to go to Thai court and get them to grant official custody? Or is there another quicker easier way such as him signing a legal document of some sort? An affidavit or the sort.
My fiancee thinks going to court will take abit of time and it's hard for me to find information on this on the net. If anyone has any experience of this or an idea what's required that would be great.
Just another quick question we also talked about getting married before applying for a visa, but this would be a marriage at the amphur only. No wedding ceremony as such, if we did this would that look bad in the eyes of immigration? As we would have no photos of a ceremony ect. I was happy to do that but worried immigration might think we were in a sham marriage if we just did the amphur documents.
/ cheers Paul

I don't mind srongkran I take part during the day but the problem is the people at the end of my soi play all night. The fan and I can't get out to go have dinner without getting wet as this soi has only one way out. There abit of a motley bunch too last night we were lucky as there happen to be a tuk tuk just drop some else at our appartment he set his tuk tuk up with plastic covers and gave us an umbrella for proctection, the revellers still tried to wet us and laughed at our protection.
On our return at 11 pm they were still dancing in the soi and playing with water. I don't mund getting wet when coming home but it is infuriating if you get soaked on your way out when your dressed to go out for dinner. Were in a soi near bearing Bts, there's a casino in this soi we believe to which co tributes to the revellers hanging here late into the night.

Thanks for the replies,in my experience you always have to clear customs when changing from domestic to international or vice versa. Hence I'd rather of been at the airport in case there's any issues, but at least she can do customs with a Friend. Airline is air Asia but in the end it's costing just as much a if not more than a full priced carrier.
I think I wrote a cracking support letter (can share if anyone is interested) and covered all bases. But I think a lot of it comes down to who does the processing. Our first application in June was denied, this was our 2nd application.
Some users here may remember I'm the in love with a married Thai girl thread guy. (As it was mentioned last time I posted in this thread)

So I got a 3 month visa for my teerak, stoked. Got a quick question. I live in Adelaide and that was stated in my support letter, but she has a friend flying to gold coast from bkk to so I was going to put the teerak on the same flight to yhrcgold coast then get her an onward flight to Adelaide. Would something like that raise the eyes of customs? Would it say in the electronic visa she's visiting Adelaide?
/cheers

So what if you bring your girlfriend you have to put up with every body telling you she a scammer, labelling her a bar girl or trying to crack on to her? I wont be in BKK till the 17th of july anyway, I might have a low key geeser if im around the area one day.
-
I can never get them to use the meter when going to Pattaya from Bkk, they usually charge 1200 baht. Compared to the Australian price for a taxi its cheap as chips so I don't mind to much. Around Bkk and from bkk to the airport I always insist on a meter though.

What difference does that make? Because she was married before and she is now divorced she is not entitled to a visitor visa in some peoples minds? I have known her since February 12th. April 8th was the date we first met in person, we are serious about each other and our relationship is as valid as the next person.

I finally got the reason out of her lol, seems we have not known long enough for them to be confident that I will continually support her. So her financial circumstances out weigh mine. Was abit hard to explain to her. So I guess all we can do is wait until we know longer so they are more confident of my support, or get her bank built up over a period of time. I don't really want to build her bank up for 3 months anything could happen. I have already provided for her financially substantially. Unless any one else here as any other ideas??"""""after careful consideration of all the information you have provided, I was not satisfied that you met the relevant criteria for the grant of this visa as set out in australian migration lawadequate means to support himself or herself; or access to adequate means to support himself or herself; during the period of the applicant's intended stay in australia
you have stated on your application form that you wish to travel to australia from 15/07-26/08 . you have stated that your boyfriend will support you with accommodation and provide financially during your stay in australia.8:13 PMyou have provided a bank book from kasikorn bank indicating total available funds of 69,534 thai baht as at 02/06/2014 . however , i note that these funds were deposited into the account over a short period of time and are not consistent with the account's previous transaction history. prior to these recent deposits, the total balance your account was only 134.19 as you have not provided any information regarding the source of these funds, i cannot be satisfied that the balance in your account is a true indication of your financial situation.you have provided an invitation letter and supporting documents from mr. XXXXXXX, an australian citizen. he states that he will be support your stay in australia. this office considers carefully the support from australians, particularly if there is a close family or personal link.8:25 PMyou have provided an invitation letter and supporting documents from mr. Im not a long term resident but it would depend on regulations and reputations of certain countries or areas
for example in Australia, taxis don't rip you off
none of this "no meter" stuff
none of this taking you in the wrong direction
the drivers can lose their license and if audited theyd be in big trouble
the worst that can happen is they take you a slighter long way
if the system were the same in Thailand for example, i would never even consider getting ripped off
same thing here with the shops, usually items have prices on them so need to worry about getting over quoted,
obviously not at local markets etc
Taxis ARE a rip off in Australia compared to Thailand. If if a taxi driver over charges you in Thailand your getting a way better price than in OZ. I can get a taxi from BKK to pattaya for $40-$50 odd. Taking a cab the same distance in Oz would be $250-$300!

Not much to report, is in limbo at the moment we have applied for a tourist visa last week, waiting now. I received a PM from a thai lady on here who found her and her ex face book from the divorce paper I posted. She is probably the only person who knows this is all real. She actually sent me a real long an interesting PM of what she thought.

loop snakes and drop bears seem to instil more fear in tourists than crocs.

It not me, I had photographic and video evidence for mine. Even I think this one sounds made up, I didn't even give mine any money or anything till I had actually been with her for 2 weeks.
