I’ve always believed there’s something lacking in people who don’t like dogs. Now I’m certain.

Lol you actually think it comes from dogs! I’m more fearful for the mental health people who say things like this.

I would get along well with Thai women then. In house animals are disgusting. I hate the US and their weird relationship with dogs & cats and it's mostly the women who are (again) leading this bizarre parade.
What absolute nonsense

At 5:00 am, the taxis are much less picky than at most other times about long trips on the meter, especially if you are willing to take the expressway.
At 5am and heading out of town I wouldn’t be using the tollway

Many set up a company, 49% owned by you and 51% by a few shareholders, you are the majority shareholder.
Yes and all you’re doing is skirting the law. There are also endless stories of those set ups going bad. One such instance with someone I know personally.

As long as I’ve lived in Thailand I’ve wanted a house, but until I can legally own it and the land it sits on with MY name on the documents I’ll stick to buying condos.

I said no to Trudeau taxes and immigration
So you decided to become an immigrant. Or do you call yourself an expat because you think it means you’re not an immigrant.

Let’s not forget that scamming or at the very least overcharging is sanctioned by the government here. Just a few days ago I tried to enter QS botanical gardens at Mae Rim. The “foreigner” price was a mere 300% rip off instead of the National Park average 1000%. My pink card was refused so we turned the car round and went elsewhere.

Just because other places have scams it doesn’t excuse Thailand. Thai bashing as you call it is perfectly valid in this case.

Remember, in Thailand there is always a choice.... as a matter of fact a lot more choice than back home. If you are lazy to do a research then you really shouldn't complain about being "ripped off". It's called capitalism, not scam.
No, it’s a scam. And it’s not really a choice when the only choice is pay up or don’t go.

I’ve had quite a few issues with Grab, you have to push and push but I have noticed is that since the lockdowns their CS has hot considerably worse. They’ve also pushed prices up to the degree that I rarely ever use them now. For a while I used Bolt because they were half the price, but their app is a nightmare finding your location and they’re now often more costly than Grab. I’ve mostly gone back to meter taxis or driving myself.

This is why I never use my passport to check into a Thai hotel. I use my pink card so I can avoid this TM30 nonsense.

To call that stuff Liptons make tea would get you sued in the UK

Some products are made especially for Asian markets and are made in Asia.
Tim-Tams are an example. Sometimes you will see both the original product and the Asian version close to each other. The original version being more expensive with a different eating quality.I remember buying them years ago because Villa had them on special. They were a fraction of what they were in Australia and when I looked at the packaging they were made in Indonesia. No Australian would go near them!

He might get more customers in the Coffee Club if he wasn’t charging very adult prices for very kids size portions.

They should have "Live Updates" channel for latest requirements at the 75 different immigration offices.
Even then each different io could pull out some nonsense.
It’s not every office that has their own rules, it’s every OFFICER!

Good point. I'm not familiar with phone repair/battery replacement shops in CM.
Any suggestions appreciated.
As far as I can remember when I had a J7 you could easily just buy a replacement battery whereas newer phones now have to be done by a pro.To be honest I’d recommend just buying a new phone, one of the A series Samsungs eg the A21 would knock spots off a J7

With such an old phone it’s most likely the battery.

I’ve been using True 1 year.unlimited SIM for around 4 years now. I can’t confirm the speed but can confirm that I stream via my Samsung phone hotspot to my TV and it works extremely well wherever I’ve used it. True don’t sell them in store but Lazada and MBK have them for 1800-1900 baht

Personally I wouldn’t risk getting the one IO who makes up his own rules. Forget how busy your week is and do it on the Friday before.
