I saw outgoing PM Prayut polishing the gun turret on his tank. The old guard are not out of options yet...

And now he has everyone from regular Thais to old-fart AN readers talking about him, driving traffic to YouTube and notching up a few thousand more subscribers. That should get him from his current 13.3 million subscribers to around 15 million...plus a nice chunk of extra ad revenue. Well done, "my mate," - excellent publicity stunt!

Absolutely...although I think #3 will be the straw that break's the elephant's back. Look what happened to Big Joke when he tried to end corruption. Can't take away all those special brown envelopes... -

Shocking. This must be the first time something like this has ever happened. -
Well, I dug down the back of the sofa and found 100 million baht I had forgotten about. Now I just have to decide where to invest it: Option #1: tie it all up for ten years so I can buy 1 rai of jungle in the sticks Option #2: send it to the Nigerian prince who is offering big rewards in return for a little financial help Difficult choice, but I'm leaning towards #2 as the safer and wiser investment. Thoughts?

It's an EGGSciting story, that's for sure. Of course, no-one should be EGGSempt from justice, so I EGGSpect them both to be charged. No doubt the real driver is guilty of EGGSessive drinking, so should get an EGGStra-long sentence. (All those years of reading The Beano Easter edition as a kid finally came in handy!)

‘Tourism fee’, now for all travellers to Thailand, ready to launch

The biggest problem is vacationing farangs crashing motorbikes while driving drunk and/or without a valid motorbike license. I think they will pay their 300 baht, only to find that one of the above invalidates their insurance. So the GoFundMe campaigns will continue.
