  1. Sadly, it has completely snapped off
  2. My telescopic handle on my luggage has snapped and M&S won't get me a new one. Any suggestions for a repair near me? I tried Mr Bag Fix and they couldn't do it.
  3. They have introduced this at the swimming pool in Rajamangala now as well.
  4. Does anyone know where to get some? Mine have snapped. Size 10 is the biggest I can find so far. I live in Ramkhamhaeng/ Bangkapi area.
  5. There were no locals to ask. It was really hot and I wanted a drink. I am not going to get a Thai bank account just to get a drink. It was a bit of a farce. Thankfully, this is the first time this has happened. I hope it is the last.
  6. Surely there must be tourists at that cycle track as well who couldn't pay?
  7. But I don't have that option as I don't have a Thai account and neither can I get one
  8. Looking at this Foreigner's Guide to Thai QR Code Payments with PromptPay - Expat Wallet (expat-wallet.com) you can't! How silly.
  9. I went to the cycling track near the airport at Bangkok last night. I wanted a drink but nobody would accept cash or card payments. It was just a QR code scan. How I can get that to work if I just have a UK bank account?
  10. Great. How will you get a ticket? I have just paid on the day before.
  11. Does anyone know where I can get tickets for this? I am not in Thailand at the moment but have seen this: Official Ticket | ฟุตบอลโลก 2026 รอบคัดเลือก โซนเอเชีย รอบสอง (2 Matches Pass) (thaiticketmajor.com) But it is for 2 matches. I only want 1.
  12. Just to keep you notified. My ticket was £897.79 and with my air miles it cost me £715.79, a saving of £182, so worth doing.
  13. Thanks for all your help. I have figured it out now and pieced it altogether. I don't have enough for a free flight or an upgrade - I just have enough for a reduction in my flight (miles plus cash) or a few hours in a lounge before the flight. We got there in the end! Thanks to everyone who has managed to help me.
  14. So, the £409 fare was just for taxes and fares and I will be charged more when I book? I still can't figure it out as I only have 40000 miles, why does it state 85000? Am I purchasing the extra miles as well? It would be really helpful if Thai Airways told me the total cost of what I will pay before agreeing to it al. I have spent about 2 days trying to figure it all out but it does look like my only real option is to pay cash and miles, unless I just wanted to retain the miles for a possible upgrade (which I don't). I would rather get rid of them ASAP.
  15. This is what I get when I select Air Awards on the ROP portal. Does this mean I will pay £409.79 for the flights? I don't want to confirm it as it looks like it is a final request. Also, why does it state 85000 miles as I only have 40000. When I select the same flights and use miles plus cash option it comes to approx £900 and then using all my miles it gets reduced to about £700. Can anyone help?
