  1. Google Chrome started to open another browser page...I use google...I could not change it and google chrome said they could not determine what my browser was...this went on for several days & I kept trying to change the browser then google chrome put up a message I should download malicious software removal...and gave a link...I clicked...it appeared and immediately went to work...suddenly everything worked just fine.

  2. A few years back I purchased a ticket on EVA with my credit card which was in the US..I was in Thailand. When I went to the airport they refused my ticket as I only had the old expired card...I paid cash at the check-in counter...my reserved seats were OK...Later I called the airline & they refunded the credit card charge.

Now I am going to fly next month...no credit card. A friend in the US charged the flight to his card...he filled out a form & supposedly it will work.

  3. The government vet on Third Road by the fire company does cat spaying for 300 baht, they also can do home appointments. I'm sure if your wife explains the situation they can offer a discount.

Thank you. I had no idea there was a govt. vet. Do you know if they do the same for dogs? It is on Third Road?....I can't picture the fire company?

  4. My wife has a small chicken shack out here in our semi-rural neighborhood...she has been complaining that everything costs more & resisted raising her prices...but as she makes such a small profit on the chicken pieces that she must clean, prepare that she had to raise the price or she would be losing money on each sale.

  5. I have an underground cistern. Bought a number of the premade concrete "rings" (large size). Dug a large hole, poured a cement floor, placed the rings in, then put a coating of cement 'plaster' on. I opted to have the last few rings above ground making a platform.

Installed a pump. It is working fine now for five years...water kept cool by the earth.

I have separate tanks to catch water off the roof (installed gutters).

  6. About three months ago my desktop running XP started to slow down & began refusing to do more than one task at a time.

I tried all sorts of stuff. Virus scans, trash canning some recent downloads, cleaning programs...only a marginal improvement.

Then last week Windows Defender popped up saying they had a problem with something & the code for the problem was not listed at the Windows webpage. As the item was unnecessary I deleted it. Later that day Windows Defender popped up with the same thing.

I thought "what the f___!" and deleted Windows Defender.

Without having to reboot or anything my machine became a screaming multi-tasking machine.

    I am happy..but...do I need the defender?
