Indeed, little effort went into vaccinating the Indian public prior to this last outbreak and vaccines were not widely available. Rather India concentrated on producing vaccines for export. A huge mistake due to false complacency after the initial waves were nto as bad as expected. . Similiar to mistakes made in Thailand.
You are 100% correct in your assessment and it is my understanding but not acceptance in total that the U.K. Government believed as we all did the there was indeed an concerted effort in India to vaccinate some 4.1 million of the population daily but if fact considerably less than that were being vaccinated because the produced vaccine was being sold around the world, money being more important than life itself.

that the reason for the spread of the variant is all the public's fault and not because they failed to stop flights from India for 3 weeks.
At what point did I or anyone else say that the government not stopping the return of Indian nationals from the sub continent did not have an effect on the infection rates? Of course it did, BUT had those who live here year round accepted the vaccine that the government all but pleaded with them to accept, the evidence shows that the rate of infection would not have been as high as it has become.
Those Asians who did have the vaccine to date have had no infection.
The government and it’s scientists have clearly stated and reiterated that the infections are in the antivaccer minority. They are not my words -

A doctor told me that if you get it a second time the symptoms would be a lot worse than the first time ( if you had symptoms.
Your doctor is giving you incorrect information.
There is published scientific information in the Lancet and other medical journals that state quite clearly that second time around Covid infection and Covid vaccine recipients who contract Covid have considerably less symptoms and discomfort from. and do not Need o be hospitalised.
I also states that vaccinated people are less likely by 95% to be carriers and spreaders of the virus, the proof of this is evident in the U.K. where some 60 million doses have been given and now the infection rate has gone from near 30,000 a day to some 2,000 and the death rate from 1,500 deaths each day to just two today. The only uncertainty at this time is the Indian variant which is spreading quite quickly, however all of those infected are people who have not had the vaccine because they have refused it, some for religious reasons but mostly because they have read and believe the fake news spread by the ill informed idiot brigade.

It used to be 192 and FREE. Not any more!
What difference does that make? If a scammer can strip your bank account by spending a few pennies to acquire your phone number it’s win win for him.
I have had this scam sent to me by email @gmail.com and now I get it by text on my phone so how did the scammer get my email and my phone number???
Oh silly me I was forgetting Google have both. -

Regardless of technology the action is the same. They all stimulate the body's immune system to launch a defense against the virus.
Yes but different vaccines are produced using different mediums and production processes, some use a spike from the virus others kill the virus and use that.
A recent Government scientific directive was to not mix until further investigation is carried out as mixing could be the catalyst for horrendous side effects.
I have had 2 OAZ jabs but there is no way on this earth that I would have had a mix

Me thinks you are getting mixed up between saying one will buy the house and exchange of contracts
Where upon all the relevant paper work is finalised and making the last payment in full.
The poster stated he had made that payment and got the papers on the due date.
Therefore he is now the legal owner of the house and he can move in at will, otherwise why would there be a completion date?On the day final payment is made the vendor must move out because he no longer owns the house.
So to be clear, The transition period is between exchange of contracts and completion of all legalities with purchase price paid in full, at that time the vendor has the money in his account and the purchaser is the new owner. and can move in immediately if he chooses.
Having bought and sold 20 plus houses I think I would know how it works by now

you don't buy property and move in immediately, unless you are a drug dealer and need your crash place immediately ????
Exchange of contract sets the completion date, Completion means all money is paid to the seller who is out on the day, and the purchaser moves in.

Anyone an idea how i can find a place in a hospital for him?
Sadly you friend is a victim of the fear factor prevalent in the medical profession in Thailand, this is where so called doctors will not accept the medical responsibility they signed up to because they are scared of covid 19, so rather than treat a patient they say the hospital is full.
3 days ago my girlfriend tried to get into hospital because of serious heart palpitations but they refused her entry and treatment because she came from a village that had one reported person who tested positive, this is a disgraceful dereliction of duty that does not look good for anyone Thai or Farang.
May I suggest you simply find a safe way to get your friend to any hospital and leave him there, cover yourself so you can not be recognised and immediately leave the hospital yourself.
You must then go home and isolate yourself for 14 days coming into contact with no one.
Any supplies you need should be delivered by a friend and left on your doorstep, any money you hand over should be sprayed with alcohol hand wash.During your isolation you would do well to make a plan to get yourself to hospital should you need it.
Be very careful and I wish you the best of luck in this.

You really need to read exactly what the story actually says to get the full picture.
If only the majority in here and on other forums would do that we would not be subject to all the fake news and wrong assumptions that are continually expressed.
Try reading past the first line, people, and you will be surprised at what truths you will discover.

Please don’t make a derogatory remark against the NHS, 4 days ago I suffered a problem in my throat so I visited a small hospital in my city, the next day I saw my doctor and yesterday I had an appointment with ear nose and throat at the central hospital, sadly I have been given the bad news of throat cancer however my point here is that the NHS has been under immense strain because of Covid yet it took them just 4 days to rush me through the system and give me a diagnosis.
Sometime during the next two weeks I will receive an appointment for a body scan and biopsy with hopeful treatment to follow. The NHS has been immensely swift, understanding and caring and given me the will to fight this.

This dog breed does not need to be teased, viciousness is inherent in them and they are bred specifically for it, that is why many responsible countries have banned them.
one can only hope that the new owner does NOT have young children nearby but I fear that we have not heard the last of this killer dog

the virus might come back with a vengeance.
Don’t blame the Farang!!
most if not all of the infections in Thailand are as a result of porous borders and the border hoppers that use them and then avoid quarantine.
Any future farang coming back now or later will have to show proof of vaccination and further testing before they get past immigration. And before you say it , there is certain proof that once vaccinated there is very little to no possibility of being Asymptomatic and therefore not likely to infect others.
The proof of that is on the net, one simply needs to search it.

100% incorrect there is only one vaccine proven to be barely effective at 50.7% but you carry on with your stupid belief, sadly you are a total danger to everyone probably just because a needle frightens the s++t out of you.
I genuinely hope you never get this devastating sickness but if you do I hope again that when your bodily organs are shutting down and you are gasping for breath you will remember your words.
You are wearing your mask to high sunshine it is time to lower it a little and open your eyes.
I will never wish ill on you or anyone else but I am pig sick of Facebook scientists with no Idea or understanding of what is happening across the world.
The U.K. has now vaccinated 40 million and lowered the infection rate from 20,000 + per day to under 3,000 yesterday and the death rate from 1,500 per day to 23 all because of the vaccine rollout.

Yes but they still will not understand that if they had got on with quality vaccinations of the population they would currently not be in the amber no travel bracket enforced by countries who have inoculated a large part of their people.
I can’t wait to come back but I have to obtain consent to travel from my Government because the Thai Government adopted a wait and see policy, Well they waited and now they and the world can see it was a stupid move.
