  1. First of all how do you have a Thai Credit card without a Thai Bank account ?

What kind of visa are you coming to Thailand on. Tourist, Non Immigrant "O" or "O-A", or visa waiver ?

Fees for "cash advances" from an ATM are determined by the card issuer

Use of a foreign credit card or foreign bank ATM card at a Thai Bank will incur a 150 or 180 THB fee depending upon the bank. The amount that can be withdrawn at any one time will range from a low of 20,000 THB to 30,000 THB bank depending upon which banks' ATM you use

Whatever you decide on make sure that you open an account in a mall or shopping center so that you can go to your bank during non regular banking hours since many things can only be done at your "home" branch

Provide more correct information and you will get more relevant information here

    Thx for the answer.

I will have a tourist visa.

And i also want to get a Thai credit card after i open a Thai bank acount.

So my questions were, What are the fees for withdrawing money from an ATM in Thailand, using a Thai credit card?

And what Thai bank/s are popular with expats in Pattaya?

  2. Hi, i'm coming to thailand soon, and i will buy a new thai sim card at the airport.

I intend to stay in thailand permanently.

Should i buy a tourist sim card or some other sim card?

Also do i need to register a tourist sim card as well?

Also where do i register my new thai sim card? Can i do it in the bangkok airport? Or should i do it somewhere else?

  3. hi all , I want to go to Cambodia for about 2 months in order to see weather I like place and eventually live there permanently.

I was wondering if there are lots of serviced apartments in phnom phen like in pattaya?

and are there any regions in which there are lots of them in particular?

and finally how much would a nice typical studio apartment that say in pattaya can be had in 10-15k baht should cost me outside the riverfront area?

  4. thank you guys for the answers.

sfokevin I logged to their website , it looks like I have a tourist sim card (I bought 500 baht credits).

can I change it to a normal sim card instead?

and it's written there that the expiry date is 3 months after I bought my and credits.

is my tourist card only valid for 3 months? or are my 500 baht credits only valid for 3 months?
