Poll: Expats living in Thailand -- Are You Boosted?
tonray replied to Jingthing's topic in COVID-19 Coronavirus
Just got my Pfizer booster yesterday at Bang Sue...in an out in less than an hour including the 30 minute observation time. They have it down to a science. Great job by the staff at Bang Sue. This morning...no apparent side effects that I can ascertain. -

No, once your initial 90 days is up you can apply for a 1 year extension. During that year you can travel freely. -

Years ago I lived in RamKhamhaeng near Soi 29 which is the location of a San Saeb boat pier. There was a Thai guy without legs who would drag himself along the length of the Soi from Ram Road all the way to the pier and back every day...getting food handouts from the vendors and whatever cash people would toss onto his cardboard box flattened, which is what he used to drag himself along the pavement. Then one day a foreign begpacker shows up begging for cash along Soi 29. Normally I would mind my own business but I had to give it to him....competing for donations with a guy with no legs who drags himself in the hot sun on a piece of cardboard all day to survive. I made such a fuss that he finally took off tail between his legs never to be seen again.- 67 replies

O-A Visa can only be applied for in your home country or one of legal residence. You likely mean O-Visa -
Extremely expensive accident, anything/what I can do?

Come on now...this is ThaiVisa...???? -
My view is to stay out of Thai/Local neighbor business. If they are illegal, they almost surely have protection from high up officials locally......move along and pretend you did not see a thing

Ahhh...the age old question that cannot be answered by anyone but yourself. Some guys can blow thru 300K in a year and some can make that last 30 years, what type are you ? Does this money generate any income ? Is their any pension/annuity in addition as a regular supplement ? Do you plan on meeting and settling in with a Thai GF/Wife ? Have you ever been to Thailand and if so what was your 'burn rate' on cash ? What type of housing do you expect to reside in ? etc etc etc

So in short you attempted to curb his aggressive driving by doing something sure to make him more dangerous to others...good plan -
