Thailand’s IKEA Bang Yai transforms into a circular shop
tonray replied to webfact's topic in Bangkok News
It depends on what you want. For example, chair cushions or bedroom furniture...right there at the entrance (in Bang Yai). I might suggest a 20 baht store more appropriate for your spatula purchases in the future. -

Opinion: Rubber glove scandal a national embarrassment in the making
tonray replied to webfact's topic in Thailand News
I'd bet the OA visa holders are behind this hideous plot. Starting next year all OA visa extensions must be accompanied by a insurance policy against fraudulent gloves, available at your local insuance company for a smalll fee -
You'll only get one if you get in the queue to get it. Many people just walk out after their waiting period. It's not something that they steer you to unless you ask specifically.

ID issue for Mor Prom app how to enable?
tonray replied to RubbaJohnny's topic in COVID-19 Coronavirus
The I have no idea what ID you are using. You get your 13 digit ID after your second vaccination. Did you get number 2 ? if so, you need to go back to hospital and get a yellow paper cert with your ID and information..then you can register with the APP. -

When we moved into a new townhouse, same problem with the washer. Since everything was new and still under warranty called the developer. The service team came over and I showed them the problem and then showed them a diagram of a p-trap on my phone. In Thai, they told the GF they have no idea what that farang contraption was and had never seen that before. Just that week, we had SB Furniture install kitchen cabinets and sink and they did a proper p-trap...so I walked them over to peek under the sink. Stares of amazment and absolute silence from the crew. In the end they still just fashioned a plastic sealing cap to insert the drain hose thru and be done with it. I stayed out of it...SMH

Insurance for OA visa
tonray replied to harry1465's topic in Thai Visas, Residency, and Work Permits
Thinking logically, this would normally lead one to believe then after acquiring the 3million baht coverage, one would not need to maintain the 800k anymore...but this is Thailand and I'm sure that will not be the case. -
