I went back to Manchester 23 years ago. Streets were dirty cct cameras every were, tall fences around housing units/flats. My son asked me why his nose was so cold he had never experienced it in Australia never wear a coat. I am going back this year and will have to buy one. Would of been nice for American expats Whoop whoop of helicopters all night chasing criminals. I will be looking at Spain rents are similar to Thailand and can buy a 2 bed condo or town house to do up for 40,000 Euro.

Australia can't afford floods of ilegal immigrants, they are already attacking the aged pension, private super funds and the public health system to try and raise money for these people who asking for more and more handouts. Where is all the money going to come from when the entire muslim population moves to the west so infidels can look after them?
Were is all the money paid into the pension funds? Will be the same with super all happy now but when start selling off shares in 20 years stock prices will fall so no money for super.

This morning on Thai news they were saying that a large amount of money had been found. That was wishful thinking (as in preprepared statement) I guess, but I does explain maybe why so many police turned up, I mean fair is fair, everybody should get a cut. They are no longer saying that.
The Thais can't imagine anyone playing without gambling.
(Edit, sorry, I got carried away). I heard it on two BBC news broadcasts.
In 5000 baht bundles.

Under Thai law, squatters who occupied another person's land without permission can eventually claim ownership of the said land parcels if the land's rightful owner was not able to evict them in a certain period of time. A Chanote title deed gives land owners 10 years to evict the squatters from their land before they lose their ownership.
Thailand adopts this concept in Section 1382. – Of the Civil and Commercial Code:-
“Where a person has, for an interrupted period of ten years in case of an immovable property, or five years in case of movable property, peacefully and openly possessed a property belonging to another, with the intention to be its owner, has acquired the ownership of it”
Adverse possession occurs when a third party acquires the title to a legal owner’s real property without the legal owner receiving any compensation or engaging in any contract. The third party acquires ownership rights by holding the property for a specific period of time, in a manner that conflicts with the original owner’s rights. This common-law concept of obtaining ownership through possession, known in ancient Roman law as “usucapio,” has found its way into the laws of many civil-law countries, including Thailand’s Civil and Commercial Code (CCC).
I believe it is 7 years in England. I was hired to go and dig some land to qualify it as being improved.

My advice is to ask to see the financial adviser (FIZ) at centerlink. They can tell you what is the best options for you. you can look at the site for info on what you are allowed to have before your pension is affected. no house means more cash allowed. There is a limit on the house value as well if over then will impact on pension. May be worth your while selling your house and buying a cheaper one, use extra money to buy here but I would advise renting until you are sure you are where you want to be in Thailand. Wish you well.

I like the post on Time, what every child needs. Also a continuous amount of time. 2 weeks is no time. As for gifts anything is nice, but the best thing to give is what they want. And that is not always easy.
