Officially you need to pay taxes, if you bring in the money in the year it was earned. But there are also tax treaties with many countries to prevent someone paying double tax.

I can only suggest caution at the moment. I believe you can get a 2 month work visa in Cambodia for $100 you would have to check. If you use the site then I suggest you use them for a short time and move on to make it look you are a traveller. at the moment they have 89 in Thailand and26 in Cambodia.

Australian pensioner if I stay in Thailand over 26 week I think I have to pay tax on all money I bring into the country. I would assume this is the same for other visas or does a visa run reset the count if not then staying over 26 week would put you in a tax bracket.

Think a $1 is a little low but don't live there.
