  1. It's not the Thai way to obey traffic rules. Either the education system or culture is flawed or both.

  3. On the contrary, there are many hong kongers and Chinese who purchase properties off plan without ever flying in to take a look at the location first.
  4. Yeah. Singapore joined as well from the onset and will donate their allocated share from the scheme to needy countries.
  5. Well they tend to put their eggs in one basket without much thoughts to the consequences.
  6. Realistically, it will never end. Prepare life with covid being endemic is the next step but Thailand is way behind to even plan for that stage.

  9. The gold standard Pfizer's efficacy has dropped to 39% against the Delta variant anyway. As long as the vaccine can prevent severe symptoms, I suggest you take whatever is available.
  10. Thailand's driving chaos is deep rooted in their culture but don't drag the whole Asia into your slur.
  11. The other is a chinese TCM formula used to treat covid symptoms. Supposedly aids in recovery but doesn't prevent severe onset of covid. Tons of those sold in China and exported to friendly countries.
  12. I admire your ability to adapt. For me it took about 5 years before I decided I couldn't do so without going crazy that's why I forgo the idea of permanent residency. I diverted most of my investment elsewhere since. I agree about the whining part as I have often said the same for more than a few here.
  13. That theory works on a optimistic scenario. It's a race between vaccinating at a pace quicker than stronger variants emerging that nullify or reduce the available vaccines' effectiveness to the point that inoculation has to be repeated again with booster shots. Covid is likely to be endemic and we should prepare to live with it. What's infuriating though were certain government's response to the already slow vaccination program and more lives will be lost because of that.
  14. Singapore and Malaysia already have the app to show proof of authenticity of vaccination. Thailand can do so easily, if it wants to. Question of when is one up for debate for another day.
  15. I think the number of vaccination per day is due to the supply of the vaccine more than a question of logistics capability in Thailand. If Malaysia can do an average of 500000 doses per day consistently for a population half of Thailand, I don't see how Thailand can't at least match it, if they really want to. It's plain to see Thailand bet on the wrong horses in terms of vaccines in this case.
  16. Mean wake up and smell the coffee to those who hasn't realize how statistics are prepared and presented in Thailand.
