I always wonder what happens if they cancel the contract even if 98% complete - do the contract company just have to suck it up & repay or legal which takes years (Hopewell for example) or is it something like employing illegal workers- don’t worry we sort it then get raided & charged just before payday & 0 salary - hefty fine & deported but never hear about the actual employer getting any charges fine etc
