The is no fine that could be asked for. It is not a official requirement and the only fines that can be given are those shown in the immigration act.
On the slip of paper attached to my passport, it states that failure to comply will void my Retirement Visa!

What's the fine for not doing it? probably less than flight costs anyway. He can prove his financials were fine at next extension anyway

I extended my Thai Retirement Visa this past May 14, 2021. Attached to my passport is a slip of paper which states that I must come back to Thai Immigration on August 12, 2021 and show my Bank book having baht 800,000 and my passport. It also states that I then must come back on November 12, 2021 and show my bank book having at least baht 400,000. I have two questions?
1. Last year when I extended my Thai Retirement Visa, I only had to come back once after 90 days to show my bank book that I have at least baht 800,000 in the bank. Why I am being asked to come back again in November to show that I have at least baht 400,000 in the bank?
2. The Thai Immigration that I go to is the one in Pathum Thani. After I extended my Thai Retirement Visa in May 2021, I went back up to Chiang Rai to our other home (we have a house in Pathum Thani as well), so that I would be away from the Hot Zone of Covid-19 infections. Now I need to go back to Pathum Thai Immigration to show them my bank book but I have found out that all domestic flights have been cancelled???? What do I do??

Online it's 15 days prior to report date.
Do around May 23.
Keep in mind that your next report date will be 90 days from when you make the report
What if I do it in person, does the 15 days prior to report date still apply?

My 90 Day Check-In is due on the 6th of June 2021. How soon can I do my 90 Day Check-In before the due date?

That was the solution, a 60 day extension and then the 1 year extension based on retirement!

Went back to Immigration and talked with the Department Head. She confirmed that it is 90 days not 60 days and that her staff member was incorrect. After she had further discussion with my wife and me, we were able to work out a solution which eliminates me having to leave the country and coming back with a new Non-Immigrant "O" Visa.

Thanks! I will go back to Immigration to get this clarified.

I already have a a one year extension to stay which expires on the 29th of March.

Thanks for your help!

They told me 60 days! This was at Pathumthani Immigration office.

Today I went to Thai Immigration to extend my Thai Retirement Visa which will expire on 29 March 2018. When they checked my Bank book they informed me that I needed a minimum of 60 days with 800,000 baht or more. My last deposit was the 31st of January 2018 so I can not do extend my Retirement Visa until after the 31st of March. I asked what to do and was told to come back after the 31st of March (which is a Saturday), and over stay my current retirement visa, pay the 500 baht per day overstay fee. And then apply for Retirement Visa. My question is: Is this the right thing to do?
