I am going to apply for Thai citizenship this year.
Does anybody have any idea what an attorney in Thailand will charge for this?

Lately I went to Krungsri in Bangkok to withdraw 100000 ฿.

The bank assistant at Krungsri would only let me take out the 100000 if I signed a paper that says that Krungsri is not responsible for my money in Krungsri.

Is that normal now?

Since I needed the money for a house extension, I signed the papers, and 10 minutes later, I transferred all my money from Krungsri to KrungThai.
(I still have 76 ฿ in Krungsri).

Since I have a Nob-n visa, I just got myself a Thai Social Security (SSO), which gives me free medicine, free access to all public hospitals, and free admission to one private hospital.

It cost me 472 ฿ per month as self sufficient.

You have to work here for a minimum of 6 months and pay tax before you turn 60 to get SSO.

I tried to register for NDID in GSB Bank.

They called the headquarter and responded that NDID is only for Thai Nationals.

Another Thai initiative that hasn't been fully thought out.

But NDID is a good initiative.

I am expat and have a Thai ID number from my Pink ID. This can't be used 😞

Two days ago I took out 8000 B from the savings bank ATM with my EU visa card.

Everything went well except the ATM did give me my 8000 B.

We went into the savings bank and asked if they could help.

They say I have to call the call center.

The next day the 8000 was taken from my EU account.

So I called the saving-banks call center and they told me they could not help me so I lost 8000 B.

Is this normal in Thailand?

I wonder if the customers will get the stolen money back...

In 12 years here I only experienced 1 time being denied buying beer

And the local villa market sells alcohol 24/7/365 all day.

A bar girl put drugs in his drink to make him drink more 

Do this improve or harm the reputation of thailand?

Do I need to do TM38 when I return to my own house? (i have yellow book and pink id)

No. I work online and pay tax in th.

If you receive money in th you must pay tax.

If the money is paid into an offshore account you do not pay tax until you import the money to th

Has anyone tried online reporting. I want to try it for the first time next month and always thought it was 7 days before due date and 7 days after. Can anyone confirm? Thank you 

14 before and 7 days after.

I only use online reg. Of tm47. Works fine for me

How can you avoid the ambulance people to bring you to the most expensive hospital?

I have social security at Kasemrad hospital in Bangkok and I am very happy with this hospital. Free medicine and cost only about 90 BTH

I saw the drivers license video yesterday at DLT. 1.5 hours later I had a new fine drivers license. The video was fine but it made me giggle since I know how Thais drive....

I know many Thais that train their dogs to attach strangers...

I think he had a wallet and ID, but someone saw an opportunity for easy money.

 

Do this not require a work permit ?

I guess TH will be blacklisted and newer be able to host the world cup
