Both EVA and Philippines Air always ask passengers to put their seats up when meals are served. Common courtesy dictates that you leave it up at least until the meal trays are picked up. But, who eats airline food anyway.
i actually think eva air's food is pretty good

i stayed at abloom, nice place but didn't like it, too far away from everything, and it's difficult to find a taxi that is willing to take you back to the place if you plan on being in the bangkok city area.

yeah the story doesn't sound like what really happened, but what did the gf have to gain if it was not true?

try to tip daily, the hotel maid may not be the same one each day, or you might be checking out on the weekend or off day in which your regular hotel maid isn't working, thus not getting your tip.
it's always a good idea to hand the tip directly to them

this sounds like a major game changer. Hopefully those invested already will be able to exit the investments without loss

i think if there was a well trusted farang owned jet ski business in pattaya, it would do very well due to tourists knowing they won't be scammed

I personally wouldn't, even though the "odds" are that you will be "safe". I'm just superstitious like that. Where there's smoke, there's fire. And from the original MH370 flight, their management have been exposed as being incompotent.
Your life is more valuable than the extra $50 dollars in savings

a couple of years ago, a hotel room that I stayed in Thailand gave me a bad cough that I couldn't get rid of for at least 3 or 4 days. I believe it was due to the air con unit in the room which probably had a really bad and dirty filter.

i plan on doing something similar, but plan on going to other countries in Asia after arriving to Thailand. Airfare is cheaper for me to book roundtrip to Thailand and then go on air asia etc on side trips.

reading this article, it sounds like australia is ok with the child molesting father having the new baby girl?
Is it too hard to do a bit of online research yourself? Would only take five minutes and then you would know Australia has some of the toughest child abuse laws in the world. http://www.aifs.gov.au/cfca/pubs/factsheets/a145620/
apparently not tough enough to let a 22 time child molestor out on the streets and obtaining a new baby girl. And when caught, all I read is how they want to "give privacy" to the guy? doesn't sound that tough to me

Hi All,
i'm new to this forum. Had a visa question that I'm not sure about. I know there's the limit of 90 days in Thailand per 6 months for tourist visa.
So I'm planning on coming to Thailand again in around November for at least 1 month, another 3 weeks if I can. Anyways, I already stayed in Thailand in the last 2 months.
So if the 90 day rule applies, that would mean I can't stay any longer than 1 month since it will all be within the 6 month period. Is there a way to extend beyond that or do I need to wait until after the 6 month period?
hope that makes sense.
Thanks for advice in advance
