I think most questions so far are too general. There is a big difference between foreigners on TVF and just foreigners here on short or long holidays. I meet many foreigners here for holidays. They mostly like it very much and I hear very few negative comments and many good ones. On TVF it's more like junior high school girls bitching about every possible thing in their lives. When you wake up negative many people stay that way the rest of the day.

I had a gf like this before. Slightly superficial, but emotionally honest, great in bed.

If she were dishonest she'd create a false image of herself by purposefully making herself seem to be caring. She doesn't, therefore she sounds like a nice girl... give her time. I bet she's got a heart of gold. Lucky for you she isn't a deceitful snake. The downside for you (and herself) is that she might be easily lured away from you by a deceitful man.

hmmmm.... the chinese do the same thing, it is called a nerverous laugh. they know that a emotion should be shown but they are not sure which one, hence a smile or slight laugh. this is the result of the complete parenting failure regarding teaching your children about helping others in need. it just is not done in some asian families. i say this with great respect to the families that do teach this as one of the golden rules to live by :-)

Yes, he has a monster son and the girl must also be a monster. But the part of this story that breaks my heart if true is this:

A passer-by alerted the rescue workers and police to put out the fire.

Are there no "Good Samaritans" left in the world. What difference might it have made had the passer-by tried to put out the fire. I guess the only positive thing is that he/she apparently didn't stop to make a video.

Maybe the passer-by didn't have a blanket or hose handy.

i see the future clearly, on every soi there will be a chinese factory sending their goods home. these sweat shops will employ millions on thai yuts whose brains have been stunted due to a "i feel good about myself" education. all the bosses will be chinese, all the thai goverment peeps will super rich, the skys will be black, all the street dogs will have lung cancer, the lush green will turn to beijing gray, and the west will be blamed for letting it happen :-)

Proves the point that some people should just not drink!....Have an ex brother in law that went on a drunk one night.....Stumbled his way, found the kitchen and ate 1/4 gallon of ice cream from the freezer....That's when the homeowner informed him that his house was one block over. Spent the next few days in county jail.

One day that home owner may be a victim of a hit and run, lying in the gutter needing urgent medical assistance. God help them if the only guy around the neighborhood is the guy around the corner they got banged up. Where i come from he would have been ass kicked off the premises but if it was clear he had been drinking and i knew him and i also knew he was not purposely robbing the place i don't think i would have seen him in jail for a few days.
