why shouldn't thailand be a first world country by now ? decades of world trade. loads of resources and manpower here. great location on the world map with access to oceans on both sides.

Because the Thai baht isn't one of the chosen currencies. What percentage of world reserves are in Thai baht ? Not even .1%. While the Canadian dollar for example is 2% of global reserves. And the Euro is 60% and so on.

The game is completely rigged against the have-nots. They were poor when they were dual debtors. And they are still poor when they are creditors

what are you on about ? you proved my point with your comment. well back in my day we were just as bad but now we have it sorted.

back in the day here and now is same same.

in 2024 LOS should pretty much be a first world country is kind of my point. but you keep on telling me i am bashing.

    typical.

Oh really. LOS should be a 1st world country eh.

you're right. these people have a clear inability to think.

    Har har.

    The metal ones were stolen.

It has nothing to do with that. Thailand is not a developed country. And to stay safe requires some personal responsibility. The nanny state isn't there to hold your hand. If you see a piece of old plywood on the side of the road , it's not advisable to stand on it.

Strange that the guard has zero self defense training. He just throws a locker room punch. Even club bouncers know how to restrain people without getting into a punching match. It's not that difficult, just restraint 101.

He didn't require to restrain her. He didn't simp out after being hit by a random woman. A stupid bitch like this would have probably hit him again if he didn't hit her back.

It looks like she tried to leave the building and area and the guard followed her outside and accosted her. No wonder she smacked him. He deserved it. If there is a problem all the guard should do is call police.

Some people will simp for a woman regardless of anything. Which is why some women get like this

I would expect to see a lot more of this in the future, some investigations have revealed that there are over 5,000 organized criminal gangs operating within Russia, and they also operate within 50 different countries. Thailand is inviting them in freely, and does not have a clue about screening career criminals, it would appear.

So, it's only a matter of time before there are more Russian Bratva here, with alot of related violence, and more Vors running around creating problems for many.

If Australian and Canadian gangsters are allowed in , why not Russian ?

I was entitled because they had changed the flight schedule. Also other issues of crookedness, misleading baggage policy etc. The airline and the booking agencies gave me a runaround for 2 days and then I said, not gonna play this, we'll do it the hard way. Wasn't my first rodeo, I'm 67 and have collected from a lot of bad guys over the years, I can do it in my sleep. Same thing happened during Covid, the airline promised the refund but wouldn't deliver, I sent a letter and notice of intent to their Bangkok office and the money was in my bank the next day. I told them I had spoken to Siam Legal who would represent me (that was a bluff) You have to know how to play the game, which is basically let them know that it will cost them a lot more money to try to cheat me than to just pay me. It's poker and chess. The advantage is always mine because I do it all myself and it costs me nothing.

Do you ever consider how much time is costs you to have a legal hissy fit over $165 ? You must enjoy this nonsense. It's less about the money isn't it...

It's still on Booking dot com and a simple search would have shown him where he was going before he got "ensnared".

Interesting. So the hotel is legit then ?

Sites like Booking .com are starting to allow sketchy Airbnb places on the site. I assumed this was a hotel operator doing an exit scam. But maybe it wasn't a scam and the guy is a lying idiot

My advice to the police is not to make assumptions…if it is too perfect of an expected outcome, then was it staged?

99% of people who murder and then stage it as suicide , are borderline insane to begin with and make glaring mistakes and plan it very poorly if at all. And their scheme is exposed within hours of discovery of a body.

If it was staged , we would already know. We'd already have the receipts for the latex gloves. And the shoes they were wearing found in a nearby trash can.

Some ppl watch too much crime drama TV.

Who thinks of moving a security camera before killing themselves ?

Unless it can be moved by a phone app , I would be checking whose fingerprints are on the camera or if the person who moved it was facing it when they moved it .

Why would someone want their suicide broadcast on Liveleak and all those creepy gore sites ?

So why come to Thailand and take out their rage on Thai people that have nothing to do with their situation and who, for the most part, live in much more dire circumstances than they do? There should be immediate consequences for these violent acts: jail, fines, deportation, blacklist.

As if the farangs that washed up on Pattayas shores 25 years ago were all model citizens.

People shouldn't have to live in fear of children in adult bodies that cannot control their emotions.

The farangs are the ones acting like children by being all confrontational about petty little things.

If you want to go around treating strangers in public like you treated other kids on playground in elementary school then just stay home.

Defending ones honor also seems to be a foreign concept to some ppl

Big bikes, little bikes, they all are death traps in Thailand no matter how good a rider you are. The law of averages, which are very high in Thailand, will catch up to you some day, its only a matter of time.

Not true at all. It happened in a bend. In good weather , by himself. He obviously didn't know how to counter steer. Like millions of others out there and the thousands who have fatalities around the world, they didn't know how to ride.

A man from Thailand died after his motorcycle crashed into a bridge railing in Chonburi.

The fatal accident happened at about 4:30 AM on Monday, April 29, 2024. The Samet Police were alerted and they sent officers and emergency rescue teams to the bridge in the Samet part of the Mueang district, in Chonburi region.

The dead man, only identified as Mr. Kriangkrai, was found lying on the road with severe head and arm wounds. He was quickly declared dead at the location by emergency medical staff. His red and black Honda CBR motorbike was found nearby, along with a shattered motorcycle helmet.

Mr. Koravin, a friend who was riding on a separate bike near Mr. Kriangkrai when the accident happened, said they had been out sightseeing around 4 AM. He said that the accident occurred when Mr. Kriangkrai was riding home and lost control of his bike on a bend.

The police are looking into what caused the accident and are encouraging bikers to exercise caution and not exceed the speed limit.
