  1. Are they? Hard to say especially the one young man that looks so confused. However, innocent looks are deceiving. A knew a young man who basically blended in the high school crowd and never did anything out of the ordinary. A year after graduating high school he returned one September day just before classes ended for the day. It was a Thursday. He casually walked into the girls washroom, waited until a 14 year old came

in. After slicing her throat, he mastarbated on her and left the school. He was caught by the police later the same day. You never know what events initiate something as savage as killing a human.

However, I feel these two accused men aren't quite sure what they are getting into. I frankly don't believe they know their fate of trial and execution which will definitely happen. My suspinions believe that these men were told and promised that if they confessed and cooperate, they would be charged, tried, and after a certain amount of time, be quietly deported back to their country. I honestly can't see someone admitting to a murder knowing the consequences. I think these young men have a least some common sense. If they truly are guilty, well, time to sleep in the bed they made.

  2. An absolute farce going on here. I've been following this since the first report. Nothing that this suspect who confesses makes sense. David had wounds on his hands that was indicated he struggled with the murderer before being killed himself. As well, his body was dragged into the ocean. From the looks of this fellow compared to David, the match up doesn't fit.

My Thai wife also agrees with most here that this is a cover-up. Living in Samut Sakhon, we have a large population of migrant workers here as well. She mentioned it's common practice to convince a migrant worker who fits the description of a said suspect in return for a hefty monetary compensation to be sent back to family in Myramar. I can see that happening.

  3. I don't know where to send this, so I'm hoping someone out there might have an answer or two.

I applied for a Canadian Permanent Residence visa for my wife and step-daughter (August 2013)  On May 13, I received a letter from Singapore returning some photos I included in the initial application.  Singapore requested the Right of Permanent Residence Fee, a new medical, a new police clearance ( I had the medical and police clearance done in 2013) and they also requested passports.

The letter from Singapore clearly stated to send passports along with the other additional documentation (RPR fee, medical and police clearance).  Singapore stated "to allow 30 days to affix visa stamps on the passports"

Today I received a call and SMS from the Canada Visa Application Service (VFS Global) stating that I can come and collect the passports.

I checked with CIC online status and it says that a decision has been made and that a local CIC center would be in contact with me.

    What does that mean?

I've been reading other online stories about "Decision has been made" scenarios and nothing seems to fit my situation.  Each story I read dealt with sending passports to the respected Embassies.

It's Friday evening and I can collect the passports on Monday, however, that doesn't ease my mind.  I really would like to know if visa's have been issued and if anyone else has had a similar story.  I was really expecting Singapore to contact us directly with the decision and not have to wait until I collect passports.

Would anyone have an idea on what maybe happening?  Anything good going to come out of this?  It's been 5 weeks since I sent the passports and the time frame looks correct, but frankly, I really don't know or have an clue on what's going on.

    Any news is good news.

    Thanks
