Have you booked the flight to Ubon? If not, try to book on Nokair.com since they have the bus connection to Pakse or Vientiane and this will show that you have the ticket out of Thailand.

ม่วน- can't find word spelled like this or close to this which makes meaning clear. Either non-standard spelling or....
ยุ is the verb to urge on, incite (suspected mis-spelling again)
จ้า likely mis-spelling of จ้ะ which is at end of sentences when speaking to intimates.
พี่ต้อย - means an older person named Toi.
Not much to go on here.
Just wanna add:
ม่วนยุ(อยู่) = had fun with something
It's Issan and also Northern dialects.
Having fun - present continuous tense
It can be both past and present continous tense.
In this context, I am sure it is past tense such as "ไปเที่ยวมาเป็นอย่างไรบ้าง?" "ม่วน(สนุก)ยุ(อยู่)พี่ต้อย" and the present continous tense such as "ทำอะไรอยู่ตอนนี้?" "(กำลัง)ม่วน(สนุก)(with something)ยุ(อยู่)พี่ต้อย"

Why don't you say หนังสือเดินทาง?
When I say English words in a Thai way I fear that Thais may think that I am being patronising. I say 'Ting too mud' among friends only.
Because หนังสือเดินทาง is more formal and mainly used in the Thai Official wording.
such as: Keyboard คีย์บอร์ด instead of แป้นพิมพ์, TVs ทีวี instead of โทรทัศน์, Visa วีซ่า instead of ตรวจลงตรา etc...
Btw, what's 'Ting too mud'?

I am a native northern Thai and speak it and I can tell you this that the Lao language is much more closer related to Isan than to northern Thai (kam muang). The Lanna script isn't taught in schools so this is the reason why people aren't familiar with it.
The Isan script you are talking about is the Lao script.I am also a eastern Lanna native speaker as well. Even in Lanna, we do speak in many of accents depends on which town you live but the most well known one is Chaing Mai accent because it is more softer, clearer and the capital of Lanna in the past. I've been to Laos just only for 2 times as a backpacker around Pakse and Vientaine and I felt like that their accent is much more softer than the common welll known Isaan speaking (Yes, in Isaan they have different of accents as well as Lanna and in Laos) and in the restaurant they listened to Lanna and Thai musics. Anyway, asking Thai people they also think in many opinoins : http://pantip.com/topic/30586495
And about the Isaan script, it's not Laos script. You can read more details here: http://www.bl.msu.ac.th/bailan/fonttham/tham.pdf or http://www.isangate.com/alphabet.html or http://digi.library.tu.ac.th/thesis/st/0440/title-biography.pdf or google it.

"ล้าสมัยแล้ว" and "คร่ำครึ" both seem to cover passé nicely. More good words/terms to add to the vocabulary. Thanks.
"ตกยุค" or "หมดยุค" can be used as well but normally we use this slang word "เชย"

บ้านใหญ่โต = บ้านหลังนี้ใหญ่โตดี
คุยโตโอ้อวด = นายคนนั้นชอบคุยโตโอ้อวด
อวดใหญ่อวดโต = เค้าชอบอวดใหญ่อวดโตประจำ
วางใหญ่วางโต = กำนันชอบทำตัววางใหญ่วางโต
คนใหญ่คนโต = เธอชอบทำตัวเหมือนกับคนใหญ่คนโต
as the example but I still do know how the exactly rule to use them. And the major differences are as tgeezer said.

Most Isaan and Northern dialects in the movies are the one that's not the Native dialect speaking which they already used mixed with the Thai.
Laos language (Not Isaan) is completely different from Isaan. It's close to the Northern one which in the past, we call Laos as Lan Chang (ล้านช้าง) and the Northern as Lanna (ล้านนา)
Lanna has its own written script but it is hard to read even the Lanna people and mostly used in the Temple. As far as I know, Isaan has its own script too but I am not sure you can see it widely used in Isaan unlike Lanna which they used it for the Name on most of the sightseeing places but sometimes they used the Thai script in the Lanna style instead.

From Sanook Dict:at any cost เป็นอย่างไรก็เป็นกันand from w3dictionaryat any cost IDM. ไม่ว่าอย่างไรก็ตาม
I think those are closer to the exact meaning, but you don't hear them spoken very much. Perhaps the OP can let us know more about the context?
Spoken language:
at any cost เป็นอย่างไรก็เป็นกัน => เป็น(ยัง)ไง(ก็)เป็นกัน
อย่างไร = (ยัง)ไง

จ้า, จร้า = express she agreed or acknowledged with you in the informal(cute) way, esp, between the gf/bf.
But it also means from Good to Bad depend on the contexts. i.e. if young woman says "จ้า" as a respose to the elder lady then she will look down her as a impolite person.
So, "จ้า" uses only between gf/bf/family
Curry and curry paste
