Yes, you get the extra year for sure. BUT the big difference is when you want to renew the membership you cannot do it inside the country if the membership is over. You have to leave thailand to apply. My experience !

The visa is legit, I am pretty sure I'll be ok for the next 12 months. They will do my 90 day reports. It just felt wrong to buy a visa that way but I didn't have other options to stay in the country. Immigration was pushing people to go and use agents to sort out their situation, so I did just that.

And you get a volunteer visa without leaving thailand ? For me it is a surprise because some told me it is impossible. And you say " if it is considered legit"...so you don't really know. It is scary as you can be ban if not , no ?

Are you over 50? RT might be preferred option for agent.

Thai visa centre is not the agent who was arrested last month ??

i was in TE offices last week. They look very concerned about the process to come back from foreign countries with TE visa. Maybe i have to leave Thailand for visa problem and ask them about the process to apply from outside the country. As i seen on their faces it is a big mess. And they told me that immi don't make it easy at all. Think twice before to apply !

thanks for information but Extension on what ? Thailand Elite office told me last week that we cannnot get any extensions. And they told me (this is their words) : "there will be no mercy by immigration for PE thailand elite"

Your Thai Elite PE visa is not considered as a tourist visa for doing the application. 

Thanks. These rules are crazy. Even agents don't understand them. So if i understand you i have no choice and need to leave thailand ? So have been in Thailand Elite system during 5 years give no privilege. Because we need to go out to apply again and maybe wait many months or more to come back... ?

I have talked to some but what they say is really confusing. Some say i can apply for a new thailand elite visa but Thailand Elite say it is impossible.  And some talk about the retirement visa but they dont really understand that i can't get an extension as Ubonjoe said

I was in Thailand Elite Visa 5 years but now they say i cannot renew membership staying inside the country. They told me immigration ask to go out from country and apply from outside.

What kind of visa i can apply staying inside Thailand ? I read that retirement or marriage visa or student visa are not available anymore inside the country and are not delivered in Europe for now.

Yes i do my 90 days report since more than one year online ! You mean that to get a certificate of residency i should do 90 day report in person ? 

I need to do a certificate of residence for my thai driving license. It is still possible to do that in Chaeng Wattana ( i read that they don't do anymore or need to go another office) ? And what papers are required ? ( i did it already in the past in another province but seems not clear what i needin bkk)

I have a friend who has a resort business near Chiang mai . Told me that immigration visited him 3 Times in 2 months !

Thanks everybody for the advices . I am not sure he is enough wealthy for thailand élite programm or 10 million investment . Maybe they Will plan a wedding but not sure he is ready. He never married before and was really indépendant ! I read elsewhere that being married change nothing about visa You can get ?

This Man is 47 and was a chier cooker in belgium. He had a belgium restaurant he owned but now sold it .

In the last 2 years he went here many Times in holidays, met a woman who is engineer in a factory. He stayed here as tourist visa for 2 months stays and come back in belgium and come back again in thailand.

Now the woman is pregnant.

She would like he comes to live in thailand. She wants to quit her job in Bkk and maybe build a resort in her hometown to work together .

He doesnt know how to do for visas to settle here. I think the resort Will be in her name. They are not married now and i dont know if they plan that. Maybe some people have ideas about the best way for him to build something légal and secure ?

Be aware that You cannot work here . Even if it online for your business in Singapore . If You live in little place near Ubon, everybody Will know sooner or later and it Will not be a secret. Be careful on immigration visits

On thai élite of 5 years the other advantages are not really good . The visa and service of limo and the service of 90 day report in Bkk are very good and efficient . But golf, hôtels,Spa and so on are really expensive with this program and the discounts really hard to obtain

Maybe You can speak faster !! Your vdo is maybe interesting but tiring to see and listen .Why this speed cut and this flow of words, difficult to understand . And never experienced difficult ways to get my chinese visa and people at embassy are very kind and helpful. But if You talk to them like in your vdo....

I have seen that yesterday was the cremation of the suprem patriarch . But i was surprised to read he died in october 2013 !!! I Knew that buddhist keep for a while à body before cérémony but why such a long time ?? Is somebody know how they set the length of Keeping of someone body ? They have rules for that ?
