-
They Checked condos now in Bkk ? Oh really ?

Why they are différent rules for différent countries ? It is the same visa for thailand !! I can not understand why ?
It is different embassies or consulates that make up their own rules. The country does not matter.
yes i understand but they are embassies from one country thailand so they have only one law to follow !!!??? of course france or any other country does not matter but u think , for examples, us embassies applies the same laws and rules everywhere ! so.....
-
Of course your situation is différent !!! But it is not the problem : thailand ask You a minimum to live here .... So why différent rules ?? I am sure they dont give retirement visa to someone from a poor country with a very low minimum

You did your visa from France ? If yes You have no alternative i think . Maybe You can come here and try from here . But here too they ask the same déposit . From france You can ask for à visa for 90 days with only proof of revenue

Thanks for the paper from embassy . I have it . But someone in embassy asked me this certificate so maybe the document is out of date . But what i know is i need it
-
No in Chaeng wattana they said me " before we did but not anymore , You have to go in your Khet " and in Khet they dont know what is it . It is the same as for getting driving licence
-
the problem is not why is where i can get it from thai autorities : i went to police station and they dont know too:
On chaeng wattana website the talk about this certificate but dont do anymore
-
Yes i know but they ask from thaï offices . To prepare my papers for wedding with thaï girl
-
I dont know where to put this topic
I need to have a certificate of résidence asked by my embassy .
I was thinking it was possible to do in Chaeng wattana but i went and they say : " we dont do anymore . Go in Khet or Amphur " so i went in Khet from bang na and they seems to dont know what is it !!! Saying go in Chaeng Wattana !! Or go to police station
Is someone has the same issue ? Or maybe someone know how to do to get this paper from thaï autorities ?

thanks shaggy851...seems to be a good advice with what i read before on this topic too

yes i went there and they tell me same : yellow book or thaï driving license . But i dont have ! My question was how to do to have and seems really difficult to get this yellow book so i Will get prepaid packageMy closest AIS (Central Bangna) accepts both Thai drivers licences and yellow books for registration.
If your phone is 2G (whatever that means here), they'll give you a new, cheapo 3G phone (INRON)...for free!
-
i am not joking and not trolling . I really didn't find threads about yellow book to have postpaid simcardtons of thread ? i can not find ...and infos on website of True , ais , very hard to find...their english version are very poor
are you joking or just trolling ?
-
oh You didn't read what i wroteBuy a sim ( any 7/11), pop it in your phone. Pay for internet top up and use. Simples.

Is someone has ever get this certificate of résidence in "Khet " ? What they ask ?
-
Yes Anthony 5 it makes me crazy sometimes . And when You say that , some peoples dont believe You because they didn't have same expérience .
-
yes that what i said they need tabian baan so when You dont have ??? I went in bang na police station and they send me to Khet for certificate of résidence , which want to send me to Chaeng wattanaFor post-paid they need your passport as proof of ID and proof of address.
A rental contract with landlords ID and Tabian Ban may be sufficient.
A certificate of residence can be obtained from your local Police Station, showing the documents I just mentioned above.
-
Telewiz in fortune Town asked me a proof of résidence : yellow book or certificate of résidence . They ask the same from thaï people , blue book , the Man told me . Maybe différent from shop to shop
-
Yes immi dont do certificate of résidence anymore
-
i cant do that because they want same addres as in the book so i can not give my address
-
LOL ! i listen the advices given to me....i am open to that !
But for the house she can forget ! sure i will never buy one here
-
thanks a lot for your kind replies.... i am not mad... i found someone ( Anthony 5 ) who said same thing as me : he had postpais with a yellow book ! Even my thai girlfrien didnt believe me bu she remember that she needs bluebook for her postpaid so !
I will forget postpaid... sure ! And i will buy a new sim as , as i said , in 3 shops , they check my simcard and said "cannot upgrade to data " . Itis really confusing how many people dont believe that here ...but that a fact ! Even my scottish friend didnt believe it and follow me in the 3rd shop to check it
I will try to get a prepaid . thanks to everybody

Many countries , even poorest than thailand dont do dual pricing . And the dual pricing here in the parks is even set for Myanmar people or something like that . It is a way of protectionism and nationalism . I can accept it but i asked thaï people travelling with me in Indonésia or Vietnam if they want to pay more than locals : they dont want !!! But they think yet it is normal in thailand ! Crazy !
