I can see them doing a tiered program ,like the "Longstay" program.(platinum,gold,silver,etc.)

The visa being the main selling point,as it doesn't cost them anything(except the stamp!!)

For example: 5 years for the upper tier, descending to a 1 year visa for the cheaper option(I can't see being able to get a 5 year visa for the reported 50,000~60,000 baht new price).

I used these guys for air tickets and got excellent service...quick replies from e-mails ,etc.

If you ask the front desk at your hotel,they will change it for you when you get there.Just make sure you have about $3~$6 for your taxi,when you arrive at Yangon airport .When you pick up your bag,head for the exit(Only 1 !!),and there's a taxi desk,just outside on the left(Blue and white "taxi" sign above it!!).

As posted before,if you're going to change large amounts......Bring a wheelbarrow!!!!

If you go to Tokyo,go to Akihabara.It's the centre for elecrical goods superstores.

Plcaes like LAOX have duty free stores,etc.

Make sure you get an English speaking salesperson!!!

And as mentioned before,ask for an English version operating system!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!(They have many).

The Viao I bought from them is a multi voltage worldwide model,so no problems with that.

I think BUPA does a short term insurance plan,for people staying a few months of the year.
