Well as long as there's somewhere to park your buggy and meet up with a good friend I'm sure thinking about retiring in Thailand. If anyone else can advise me on where I could stay, I would be most thankful. Does it get cold in the cool season, I wonder, must I bring a cardigan or two over as well. Okay I think that's it, time for my afternoon nap.

Looks like they already have experienced a "Happy Ending" massage... good on you boys!

  2. I mean " happy ending " gosh, who doesn't like a bit of a happy ending in this, hard at times and unbearable life?

where is the harm here? it's a win, win and more win all around, and the pious and righties, prudish moral

guardians of this country stands on the hind legs, and they expect us to believe that those so moral defenders

don't have a mia noi or gik on the side?,,,,,

When will any of you get it into your thick heads that it's those of us who don't use prostitution have very in the way of recreational outlets here for the simple fact that laying on one's back for 5 minutes for all and sundry is a gift to the inherently lazy bloody Thai. Nothing to do with piety and 'rightyness', whatever the hell that is.

You might want to get off your high horse, before you fall off.

... and on to your back... and some lady offers you a welcomed 'me quam suk... set lao!!

  3. Crime suppression police...........in the lawless province=somebody is not doing their jobcheesy.gif

    revenge for son's murder ha.......i like that!.......war weapon/snipe the father........But i still don't think he's the no1 hitman in thailandthumbsup.gif

Good to see someone organised in Thailand.

... can do the job once to satisfaction, and then repeat the same task, over and over, to the same standard

... this is unheard of in Thailand!!

He should get at least a 'work ethic' award to compliment his death sentence!

  4. Hello all... many good comments here, and it seems the problem and answer both lies within you.

If, honestly, (and only you know) you have a 'difficult' history with past relationships, they don't expect any to work for you.

There is no PERFECT relationship... just a perfect state of compromise.

One thing I must add, is that i don't think you can dismiss someone totally if they sleep with you on the first night.

There are some charismatic males out there ("I know.. I is one"... as they say !!!).

Just as one thinks no decent woman would do this, also many ladies (from around the world) with a chequered past know that if they play 'hard to get' it comes over better even though they may ultimately be found to be the biggest players!

Our French friend may be packing one hell of an Eiffel Tower... which she found impossible to resist!

    Good Luck

    • Hello, you don't say if you and your partner are married?

I will be in a similar position in January.

I am not (yet) married to my partner.

Will I be able to get a UK passport for my 'son' issued in Thailand without problem, or will the baby have to have a Thai passport?

I wish to travel to Uk with my partner and baby next May.

Previously my partner has obtained two x 6 months visas, but I would like to get her a 1 or 2 year this time.

We will only stay for 4 weeks, as our lives are fixed permanently here in Thailand, but with wanting to take the baby, would the visa department be suspicious that we may overstay (which definitely won't be the case)?

If you apply for a 1 year or 2 year visa, and they do not want to grant this, can they grant but downgrade to say a 6 month one? Or do you have to reapply?

Many thanks for any input provided
