British man’s flight home to recovery after horror crash in Thailand
Chwooly replied to webfact's topic in Thailand News
Yes, You are lucky, It would be a tragedy if you actually had to think about your responses. of course I am aware you use emojis in an attempt to be relevant. most find them ridiculous and juvenile. But hey you do you. -
British man’s flight home to recovery after horror crash in Thailand

This is just another of those "He is a nice guy, and he lost his leg and he needs help" "Please donate" Nowhere is there any information on the circumstances of the crash so while I appreciate the link it doesn't change my mind. -
British man’s flight home to recovery after horror crash in Thailand
Chwooly replied to webfact's topic in Thailand News
I did look for it and couldn't find a single story about it, I tried using Krabi and Andy Davis as search words and the only articles I could find were dated Nov20 or later and as I wrote in the post you quoted "No it wasn't, the only information is "He is a nice guy, and he lost his leg and he needs help"" And since you won't or can't post a link to any article that gives details of the actual crash, I stand by statement that your comments about the accident being reported in depth to be a lie. Prove me wrong and I will most humbly apologize. Until then I will stand by what I said. -

I have over 400 posts, I am so happy that at least someone other than myself reads them. Thanks -
So now we see the other side, Before it was Trump will take away all your rights and install himself as a dictator, Now it is fear mongering on the economy. The amount of Trump will destroy the country rhetoric is astounding and yet those that hated him and did all they could to keep him from winning are now bending the knee to him. While those here that really have no skin in the game keep up the fear mongering and whining. The joy this gives me is endless. Please continue with this. My retirement account is doing better now after the election then it ever did under your hero and messiah Biden.

British man’s flight home to recovery after horror crash in Thailand
Chwooly replied to webfact's topic in Thailand News
That link gives no information except "Nice guy, lost leg, Needs help." Nothing substantive about the accident. Oh wait I forgot to add "His parents flew into Thailand" That article is just a dressed up go fund me page to get you to go to the Go fund me page. -

I didn't say we shouldn't help But since there is no news out there, Are there any other's that were involved that might be more deserving of help? -
Thailand Birth Rate Nosedives: 81% Drop Surpasses Japan
Chwooly replied to snoop1130's topic in Thailand News
I am to lazy too go thru all the posts but this number seems fake, Anecdotally I haven't seen a decrease of girls coming from Esan that don't have at a minimum 1 kid and most of the 25 and older crowd are still showing up with 2 or 3 kids left behind with Parents and grandparents. Of course like I said this is not a scientific study I have done, This is only my own experience with the girls I am finding on a popular st dating app. so this might not be representative of Thailand as a whole. -

Why I used "Probably" But also since there is no information on the crash, Not even time of day or if anyone else was involved it leaves it open to interpretation and conjecture. -
Was Ex police officer Derek Chauvin wrongly convicted !
Chwooly replied to riclag's topic in Political Soapbox
Call me sad all you want, I am not the one who feels a need to mention Trump and honestly no one I know views him as a grifter, The most famous one for me is Frank Abagnale. Not Trump. But if it makes you feel like a big man, Call me sad or another deragatory term that will let you fill your very empty and lonely life. -

And just like the woman in SF who had her U-haul stolen you will be the first 1 to whine about no police when you are a victim of a crime. Waa Waa Waa, Donald won how can we manage to complain about that in EVERY SINGLE THREAD FOR THE NEXT 4 YEARS. Waa Waa Waa.... -
Was Ex police officer Derek Chauvin wrongly convicted !
Chwooly replied to riclag's topic in Political Soapbox
So you're offended by him not being convicted because the dead guy was black? IF the dead guy was white or Asian that would make it an acceptable death? It's not about race but people like you want to push that narrative as well as the clowns that want to make this another thread about trump. The bottom line is Penney was acquitted and Chauvin was convicted and Trump won election, Get over it and move on already. -

Not sure what you mean here? If a criminal's past offenses are not allowed why should Chauvin's? Again am not excusing Chauvins actions, I am saying the sentence is over the top. -

Chwooly replied to riclag's topic in Political Soapbox
There is a lot of truth here. But Floyd's Drug use and Heart disease played a factor in his death as well. Chauvin is a least guilty of being overzealous in his treatment. I do think his sentence is way over the top, at best he should have to serve 5-7 years, 23 years is IMO cruel and unusual punishment, If this was just a random guy on the street is would have been a lot less. The sentence was an attempt to be PC and cater to BLM and a specific race. it was not justice. -
Can an underage person who lives in the Philippines with her mother and has an expired Philippine Passport and a Valid US Passport travel to Philippines from Thailand on a one way ticket without a problem? It is planned for her to travel to visit Thailand on her American passport as it will take to long to renew the Philippine passport as we want to visit during new Year

People who support Cashless Society
Chwooly replied to Chris Daley's topic in Jobs, Economy, Banking, Business, Investments
So being afraid of getting an infectious disease from cash is not paranoid? When has using cash caused major outbreaks of life threatening illnesses? The time it takes for an electric transaction to go thru, I have already paid cash and moved on to my next destination. With the increased reliance on e-commerce hackers are an even bigger threat now and getting even bigger. But hey you keep pushing for a cashless society, honestly it isn't that big a deal to me as I am sure I will be long gone before they are able to fully implement it globally -
Do you wear a helmet when riding a motorcycle in Thailand?
Chwooly replied to MalcolmB's topic in General Topics
Interestingly enough, 1 of the few things I find in the Philippines that is much better then Thailand, I bought a US DOT certified helmet in SM Mall in Philippines for about 1/4 of the price I would have paid here in Thailand for a comparable helmet, Full face with pulldown sun shield. I stupidly accelerated too fast in a water patch and the bike sped out from under me, I was wearing a helmet luckily but still saw stars so now I never ride with out 1. -
Why Do So Many Foreign Men Still Marry Short-Time Girls?
Chwooly replied to JK-Trilly's topic in ASEAN NOW Community Pub
And this is different from the woman who you marry at 20, have 2 kids with, Stops having sex with you at 40, browbeats you endlessly because you have been working nonstop to provide for her and the the kids. then divorces you to find herself and you end up having to give her the house and pay her alimony how? -
Why Do So Many Foreign Men Still Marry Short-Time Girls?
Chwooly replied to JK-Trilly's topic in ASEAN NOW Community Pub
Interesting, I keep having friends tell me that I should look at older women as they have already been used and abused and might appreciate a stable and steady guy especially one that is no longer looking to shag as many as possible. And that an older 1 might be more mature and better able to handle the emotional baggage you speak of. I think the reality is that there are good and bad and unfortunately in my experience the girls coming to Pattaya that fit the less then 200 men are also being trained by the women in the 2000 men range and your assumption that they will be sane and not look at men as animals is a little naïve and I don't say that to be insulting. It wasn't so bad back in the day but i wasn't smart enough to find and latch on to one when i was younger and more desirable 555
