  1. Hi

Freemindex, It is as you say we have not noticed any change in the cars engine perfomance with the Aircon on, and it is always on. But if the car is stationery in EV mode then the petrol engine kicks in I guess to keep the batteries charged, but you dont notice when petrol kicks in it is very quite and you dont hardly notice.

  3. Hi All.

First of all my answer to Ace of Pop,I bought the car new on august 3 last year it has now done8,800

km all of them seamless. Siam divers when you start the car and pull away as long as you do not hit the gas to the floor a small light comes on indicating EV electric vehicle, if you hit the gas hard the ligt goes out and you are using petrol but using the car normally around Khonkaen Cityjust following traffic at 50-60 kph90% of the time you are using EV . When we have done small road trips I found that normally she runs at 65-70 kph but if you put your foot down to overtake etcthe EV light goes out and comes on again at about 65 kph.

I have lived in Thailand7 years and have had 5 new cars before I brought thisCamryI had a ford fiesta It was a nice small car it went really well but it was only doing about 10 klms to a litre, As far as they do not sell well ,I dont really careI have lost money on all my cars in Thailand ,When I had my fiesta i was nearly getting rid of it the localNissan dealer offered me400,000 BT agaist me going to buy a new Teana My fiesta only had 3,200 KMS on the clockat the time and 5 months old..I will keep my Camry it is the best car I have had in Thai, and if you buy one Siamdivers I am sure you will like it,The Toyota dealer we use in Khonkaen is First Class.

  4. Hi All.

I have a Camry Hybrid 2.5 I have had it exactly 1 year now, No problems at all when you ask for a responce from the enginei it really goes .On occaisions when we have taken a road trip the onboard computer tells me we are getting about 19 klms per litre. I amnot saying that the extra cost will save you Baht in petrol but the cost was not much over the normal 2.5G at 1.5 million Camry hybrid just under 1.7mill.A really nice car and I am glad I bought it.

  5. Hi All.

I don't know where to post this topic, But it is about the criminals within this Gov, so here we go.

Most will remember not so long ago ,quite a number of Krung Thai Bank exec's were in court facing charges of loaning billions of Baht to a finance company ,after the company recieved the money , it made one or two re-payments and then went Bankrupt, The case revolved around the fact that Thaksin was behind the move and he was threatening the Exec's with their jobs and worse, to sanction the loan .

It has only just occured to me that Thaksin as in the past, is using the same scam again with the 350 bollion flood money, Shame on TV's channel 5 for cutting short the programme last week that was to expose the financial standing of K Water a Korean Company probably outside Thai Jurisdiction, with Thaksin at the helm.

It seems the Judges in this case see the similarity of the move and put a freeze on the Flood money.Plodrasop and all MPs who voted for this move under order's from Thaksin should face criminal charges as I think they were well aware of the scam and were just waiting for their reward money.

  6. Hi All.

    Individual persons owning Political parties.

    Standard of polititians education.

    No immunity for anyone.

Amassive clearout in the RTP at the top. Should be priority for any new Government.

Also although Charlerm declares himself a super sleuth, how is it he fails to connect the near fatal attack on the young Dem Lawyer Ramet, and the murder of this wealthy man Ekkayuth i is it just coincidense that they both issued Law suits against the Chief of police??.

  7. Hi All.

I live on a small uk pension and private money and yes times are getting harder. Blame Thaksin..He is behind everything this Gov does.In the past he used the rice scam and he uses it again now, he hsed the same scam with lam yai, and go back to 97 when he made large amounts of Baht by telling the then PM to de-valueThaksin tends to use scams from the past if they were successful, Do not have a lot of money in your Thai Bank dollars pounds or anything , When Thailand is in the same boat as Greece and up to its eyes in debt,as sure as Thailand is Bhuddist Devaluation will happen and only Thaksin will make large amounts of money, You read it here first, and I have no Crystal Ball.

  8. Police Capt Chalerm and the boss of Bankok Police must surely take some blame for the loss by Pongsapat, It was not so long ago that the 2 of them invoked emergency rule and unleashed 100,000 policemen onto the innocent public who wanted to attend a rally organised by Anti Government , General Boonlert.

It was the Govt side who organised petty violence and the firing of tear gas before 9 am before any serious protesters even showed up.I fail to see how they can be surprised at the result in BKK, The only surpriseis how they got so many votes at all .. I suppose it just proves that

    Money talks.

  9. Hi all.

I read and listen to Thai politics every day, I fail to see the logic with the Thai people voting for the Reds, The Reds DDD

created such a fuss about some Reds being held in prison since R,song that they even pressured the PT Gov to stand the bail for them, How that works out only Buddha knows.

Then you get to the time when the rank and file Reds followed the Instructions of their leaders with Megaphones at the burning of khonkaen, and Mukdahan City Halls. Some of the ignorant followers are now serving 20year plus prison terms,,And the Red leaders are very quite on the matter, Could it be that these high ranking Reds have Contracts in their pocket worth about 300 Million Baht to rebuild both City Halls,I do not feel sorry for these stupid people as the sentences well represent the crime, and so they should.I do feel angry however at Mrs Weng and the leadership of the Reds DDD leadership leaving these Wretched

Indeviduals to cope with these long sentences alone .No Government , DDD help for these stupid people.

  10. Hi All.

This looks to me that this so-called crackdown is 100% to deflect the issue of illegal chanote and illegal public land grabs by people of influence like alledgedly,a Past Governor of Phuket.

It is obvious that these thousands of rai with illegal Chanote's are at the moment in the hands of powerful people who behave like they are above the law.

Beach front land in Phuket is at a premium and a lot of it is held illegally by these people.

The Government and the Royal Thai Police know who they are yet nothing is ever done about it. Same as the big issue of resorts built on public land in Kao Yai National Park .How many have been demolished? No nothing will happen to many Baht changing hands, It is the Thai way , when things start to get hot ,Blame the Foriegners..............phupaman

  11. Hi all.

Again Calgary gets on his high horse and blames all of his heroe's troubles on coupist's, Dont forget it was Thaksin's own people in power when he was convicted and ran away like a coward, And all the cases waiting to be heard are of his own doing,

changing laws etc to suit his own family business. I can only think that our friend Calgary is onto a good monthly paycheque.

Amsterdam..Calgary Sell their grandmother down the river for money. both the same.

  12. Hi All

The first thing Thaksin can do is promote Calgary to the Agriculture ministry to work with his a soul mate Natarwut,And seeing how Yingluck is going to superviseThailand's safety from all future floods.

And how the Transport Minister is about to change the fortune's of Thai Airways . I think all the Reasonable people

in Thailand have to do is just be patient and the house of cards will come crashing down,.

I don't know how much money this government has got to steal. But when the house of cards does come crashing down ,, and it will.. There will be no money left for sure.

  13. Hi all.

I see on the news last night that a teacher at a school in Pitsanalok has been moved at the demand of the Reds. What did the teacher do wrong? She had the good sense to ask the students what they thought of the people who were trying to burn down Bankok last year, The Red movement

did'nt like it and complained to the Red Education minister . and the Gutless minister moved the teacher on, So from this action are they sending a message that no recent Thai History is to be taught in Thai Schools , More so if the Truth shows the Red movement for what it really is, A paramilitary force running wild.

  14. Hi all.

My friend in England paid for many years for a private pension with a large insurance company, , The deal was he paid a large sum every month and he would get 35,000 pound at age 65 and approx 250 pound per week,

When he was approaching 65 the news was on every day predicting doom and gloom for his pension provider company,

When he became due his pension , his lump sum dropped from 35.000 to 11.000 and his promised 250 per week became 60 per week, He told me that all together he had paid in more than 60 ,000 pound over the years, and wish he never bought it.

He had no legal recourse at the time, He knows that he and many thousand of other pensioners were well and truly shafted,.
