I'm sure you could find them packed in some type of container. Thailand is the world's biggest edible bug exporter.

When my wife and I purchased a motorbike at the Yamaha dealer, they did not ask to see a license.Regarding post #2, question 2:
Are you sure that you can not own a vehicle without having a DL (not riding on your own e.g.)?
Quite different from other countries.
Q3 is a clear no.

Why do people always direct others to go outside country to do something that can be done at immigration? You can change TV,VE, etc to a non-o at immigration.
-
I think some believe their driving skills are equal to the skills of either a professional moto racer or grand prix racer.
-
Yes you can change at immigration. Remember you will need to open a Thai bank account in your name then deposit the 400,000. Then in 2-2.5 months go to immigration and apply for your 1yr extension of stay.

Exactly.I'm no lawyer, but unless you are putting this app/website up on your own server which I suspect you are not, the hosting service that you use should sanitise anything you put up on their servers. If it is in breach of ToS they will simply shut you down/advise you before anything gets published.
That failing, host the app/website outside of Thailand. In this case if the Thai authorities deem it inappropriate they will simply block access within Thailand via the gateway. If it gets to that point you can go down the proxy access route but that just complicates things.

At Home Pro by the wall ac's they do have a unit that is the same size and looks like one of those air coolers that use water, but this one has a compressor as a regular ac unit.

I would check out the Yamaha Grand Filano.
Nice ride plenty of storage and much easier to manuver in the traffic vs the PCX & NMAX, plus it's cheaper.

This is normal, nothing new here. Well, it is new to OP. Give it time, there's a lot more to learn.

Don't mean to be picky, but TQM was an American concept, but first used by Japan. If a country's trying to join the global economy in traded goods, and it's late to the party, it's going to be difficult. Even Adam Smith thought there was a case for import controls to defend small domestic manufacturers in the early stages as they tried to become established. When you've a comparative advantage in absolutely nothing you've got a problem. People forget just how recently it was that there was a general expectation that nearly everything you bought would be rubbish. In the UK it was the 1980's before you could expect to buy something and basically expect it to work. So if you buy a 250 baht rice cooker and have it go bang on the second use the process whereby you take it back to Tesco, and they send it back to the wholesaler, who then sends it back to the manufacturer, and all of them shielded by import controls......well, that - pretty much - is what every country has to do to get a grip of the Japanese idea of total quality management.

As a tourist, I wouldn't worry about it. You're only going to be here for a max of 60 days. If you can afford to come for a vacation, then you can afford the ATM fee.

Right! I agree totally. People are always spending with the currency conversion in mind. BAD IDEA.Comparing prices 'back home' with prices here is classic newbie. Consider the bus price from Gatwick to Heathrow; it is relative when one is earning real money.

Your visa date and the date you need to do your 90 day report are two separate things.
These are done at two separate stations.

You will also need a medical certificate. I do suggest looking at practice tests as provided by link. You have to take the test where you live, you will need a residence certificate from immigration.
The test is computerized nowadays and you can take the test in English.
Practice here.

My sister in-law is married to an American and it took her 1yr to get her visa. So I won't expect anything to happen quickly.

That's a load of crap.Buddhists try to remain emotionally detached, so no, I doubt it.
-
Yes, even more so than the west.

All the same stereotypes exist here as anywhere else. That's one of the things I first noticed. Same books just different covers.
-
Wrong, it keeps pressure off the transmission. Unless you like buying transmissions go ahead
-
No, but if I was, I would hardly be considered victim in that case.

Wow talk about maintained costs.

First thing first. What nationally are you?

Only necessary on an incline or decline, just remember to engage the parking brake before you put it park.
