  1. So the Mayor is working close together with the mafia on the island , and he is protecting a serial killer. Is that the conclusion of our Thaivisa detectives ?

Yes something like that, tell us what you know and I'll do the same..

    Prostitiution is illegal..

    Drink driving is illegal..

    No helmet/license/roadworthy is illegal..

Criticising the Police on social media is illegal.

Buying Valium without prescription is illegal..

    Magic Mushrooms are illegal..

    Tourism is down, way down...

For every Thai Visa detective there is a JTJ aias sooking and lying about his loss of face and money...

There were 3 sets of DNA on Hannah..

    They're not looking for a 3rd person..

3 days after the double murders head of investigation declares they are looking for son of head man and accomplice who had fled,

then the same head officer is stood down and never to be heard of again,

next minute we're being told to shut up, nothing to see here...

Now if we're detectives what are you exactly?

  2. Surely the best course of action is for the mayor to station and instruct his police farce force at the landing points on Koh Tao to immediately return any U.K. passport holder back to the mainland post haste with a ''persona non grata'' stamp in their passports.

That small action alone will totally halt any further comments being made by the British visitors to the British press that may tarnish the islands reputation

Simple task, so easy to cover the truth in ones own little fiefdom isn't?whistling.gif

Nope, he's letting his 11 year old brother Lucky sort out the social media...he's an internet warrior!!

  3. Source Dictionary.com

judicial inquiry by a group of persons appointed by a court. The most common type is the inquest set up to investigate a death apparently occasioned by unnatural means.

Witnesses are examined, and a special jury returns a verdict on the cause of death. In England inquests are also required when there is loss or injury in a fire.

The inquest is confined to common-law jurisdictions that have a coroner system

I guess I was wrong and ThailandChili had his head screwed on correct. My apologies ThailandChili.

What has this got to do with an investigation/inquest into her death?

It isn't a judicial enquiry, her death was not unnatural and there are no witnesses to examine plus there wasn't a fire involved.

It also didn't happen in the UK. Other than that I suppose one is possible!!clap2.gif.

Boy if your brother the Mare was peed off at what the UK press were writing wait till you get home and he sees the hole you've been digging...Hilarious...Just hope he doesn't start to get you to dig with a trowell or something similar which is the way around there.....

  4. I didn't need to do an investigation as the evidence presents itself (nobody suspects foul play) not the police, parents. friends and anyone with a modicum of common sense. The fact that you don't see this must mean..........................

But you yourself stated that she was murdered......

    Can you define murder ?

If she was sold drugs that are illegal in Thailand, what would make the person that sold them ?

A pharmacist in need of a quick earn because there are Nofricketourists...

  5. No!!, I don't - but her parents described it as this (not me). They clearly didn't need the results of an autopsy to determine this (even if their choice of words is not accurate) they have simply used common sense to come to this conclusion - something that an alarmingly high proportion of TV members seem to lack at times!! .

Do you think all parents have common sense in their statements when they lose a loved one? If so then we really do need to listen to these ones also

The parents of a British holidaymaker who died in suspicious circumstances in Thailand are convinced he was murdered – and the killing covered up to protect tourism.
Nick Pearson, 25, was on a family vacation to the island of Koh Tao when he was found dead on New Year’s Day. http://www.mirror.co.uk/news/uk-news/thailand-beach-death-parents-convinced-4410135

OK!! So I take it that you think that she WAS murdered by the Mafia then!! Yes?

So there is a mafia? Now you're just not sure if this one is their doing? Or was that another keyboard slip...

Epic lulz thanks, what's your job anyway? Or is that your titile? Mayors brother?

  6. Angered???...Gee I wonder why?...Time to wake up Mr Mayor and stop your crying

The British press have got it wrong again (as they did with Hannah and David's murder).

The murdered woman's family have stated that she died of natural causes and not under suspicious circumstances!!

If they (the UK gutter press) had written about there being a Mafia culture on Koh Toh then fair enough BUT linking this death to Mafia gangs is bang out of order and I don't blame the Mayor for being enraged about shoddy/outrageous reporting.

    This dude knows something.

OK, a slip of the keyboard - I do not think she was murdered, please replace this word with dead and the rest of the post stands. My mistake.

Ahh the good old slip of the keyboard means the mystyping of a word like , instead of typing lye you might type lie,

typing murdered instead of died of natural causes is not a slip of the keyboard,

maybe this is why your brother is the Mayor and you're on here trying to translate for him..

Tak about putting your foot in it,

tipping you don't know the difference between <deleted> and shinola..

If you are really his brother please explain there is a big difference between natural causes and accidental suicide....Not on iilegal drugs either, just 3000 bahts worth of Valiums that she bought at the local pharmacy without a prescription....Perhaps tell your bro to crack down on that or is this another case where Koh Tau is a law unto itself...

  7. Its there countrylet them run it how they see fit .I wish my government would quit trying to change the world . It cant even fix itself .

Hmmm, need to ask, which country is your government from, because if you're trying to pretend to be an American it would help if you had basic grade 2 English skills, pretty sure you are pretending to be from there...Where are you from really, be honest now...

  8. "And here we were, innocently eradicating the right to free speech, ending free elections, and declaring that martial law will never end."

Don't worry, now that we can read everyone's emails without any laws to get in the way, all these problems will go away very soon.

Nope the problems will exist till they find 2 or 3 people who can speak Thai and English without having to rely on Google translate to write a press release, or make new laws etc...Till then we'll have to keep hearing stuff like, "there is no way would could ask for a bribe as we are not proficient in English" as I read on another article on Thai Visa today regarding police corruption...Bunch of mental Pygmies...

  9. Does anybody think this is a bit odd

British daily The Telegraph said Christina's mother Margaret had posted on her daughter's Facebook page saying she had died of "natural causes" . The Facebook page appeared to be inaccessible Friday - the actual post read - We have lost our beautiful daughter Chrissie in Thailand of natural causes.

If you have just found out your 23 year old daughter has died, would you really want to post on her FB that it was natural causes? that would be the last thing I would be thinking of doing, especially before any kind of autopsy, why did the Mum need to clarify that? perhaps she was advised to put it? perhaps it was not her? my best friend died of cancer and at no point did I feel like writing - 'I have just lost my best friend to cancer', struck me as rather odd as did this bit of reporting on Friday -

The autopsy is not likely to be carried out before Sunday as officials have to wait for a ferry to the mainland.

"There is no ferry today so we will send her body on Saturday night to arrive on the mainland Sunday morning," Lieutenant Colonel Napa said.

Do they not use regular ferries then?

Also this was on her FB page

Arta Ad R.I.P little Girl i was at the samd time at this Hotel and i can forgett how the Police took you out of the room

I feel so sad about you and I am so angry about the owner from the Hotel because they Talk bullshit!!!

After 15 min they clean the room and gives that to another Tourist ( i am sorry for my bad english) but i think the World should know that !!!!

I feel so sorry for the Family

Now you see when we hear stories like this. And we know the history of that bar. And the suspicion around that bar owner.

We wonder !!! And it is said that her body has been held at the Temple with no refrigeration. The same temple that nomsod is a monk at.

Like Hannah we will never know the truth of this.

I do wish people would stop blaming the victim.

What??? Nomsod is a monk at the temple she was kept at???

If this is true it's very very weird,

can you please help verify that, Nomsod is in Koh tao and not at UNi..

Did he do something wrong he has to repent for?

Given there was rape after the two brits were murdered this is a very disturbing thought that this son of the headman is nearby......

  10. @clutch Clark

A Lawyer For both of them? Is the father a suspect?

Do you have a problem with the father offering a million if anyone can prove they are guilty?

That was the most heartless in your face comment ever..

These thugs think everything can be solved with money...hope they rot in hell...

Now without diverting, why is the daddy and the head of police holding his hand at the DNA check and glaring at the media...So corrupt...

What happened to the former police head who declared Mon was the suspect?? Will he serve 5 years?

Why did you say a poster called you names when there was nothing of the sort said, then you call him ugly? Are you for real?

You are losing your grip man...now can you please explain how Mon was cleared? I can.....$$$$$$$$

  11. OK, so then your trust is actually so great that you think this event is "staged". Thats what I was hoping to measure, just how large you and others think this alleged conspiracy is.

Now you are thinking that these four respected hospital labs are also complicit in this alleged frame-up.

Can I ask what the motivation would be for these hospitals to risk their credentials?

    Thanks

They test what they are given . . . and people are questioning whether the "original" samples they are testing against are actually genuine or not or have been planted . . .

Thanks for a civil response. I appreciate it.

I have stated from the first days when posters were clamoring about demanding DNA tests that any comparison to original samples was dependent on the "quality" of those original samples.

Now that the bodies have been given to Britain for forensics, it would seem likely that early DNA findings would have been independently corroborated by British testing facilities and any sample provided by this young man would be compared against easily authenticated results of the British. After all, the British police have long been allowed to observe the evidentiary proceedings of the RTP in an effort by the latter to show transparency in the investigation.

But there are some members on this forum who are convinced the KT family is some sort of criminal mastermind who controls all of Thailand from their island hide-a-way. Something akin to James Bonds villain, SPECTRE.

    attachicon.gifimage.jpg

You are suggesting that the UK police have been given Nom sod's DNA sample, they haven't...WOuld Nom Sod be prepared to give them a sample as well????? they weren't there for this latest scam...Why was his Daddy there? Don't you have a problem with a 22 year old needing his daddy to speak for him..Why did the police state that Mon was the suspect? How did they clear his name again? thise facts never came out...Will the police do 5 years for slanderiing Mon??? Farce is a farce...Thailand is showing the world how corrupt it is...Som Num Na..Loss of face and loss of income is the only justice the real victims will get here....Boycott Koh Tao people, it's controlled by Nefarious people..

  12. You don't have to be. You are assuming that is the only evidence that the police investigation in BKK revealed.

BTW from KT to BKK takes more than 4 hours. First off you must get to Samui or Chumpon then wait for a plane then get from the airport to the university.

4+ hours? Yeah, if he stops off for a Burger King and is after a new pair for flip flops at the airport.

1 hour flight + 30 mins check in + 30 mins from airport to Uni allows 2 hour grace to get to Samui or Chumpon. Might be tight, but do-able if you've got ways and means to make it happen.

Right, did he also time the murders with the boat and plane schedules so there would be absolutely no delays or did he chartered a private speed boat and airplane to do it? facepalm.gif

Is it too much to ask for people to think before throwing more BS into the rumor mill?

Has anyone ever gone from KT to Samui in 2 hours?

    No

LOL...You have said some stupid things, that is the silliest...A slow boat can do it in 90 minutes,,A speed boat in a hurry like the one that was reported...less than 60 minutes...why so much denial JD...you seem to be taking all this to heart, defending things you can't defend...Do you think the family will charge the police with defamation after naming them early in the investigation, or are the police lies acceptable to you...these scum need to pay...

Woraphan, who was also briefly considered a potential suspect in the case, has threatened to press libel charges against anyone who attempts to link him or any of his family members to the killing of the two Britons."

There goes 90% of the Thaivisa membership!!

So JOC or is it JOKE, are you saying that village chiefs (in this case village chief of a small island) who threaten people to shut up is OK?

So even the most thick poster can understand:

First two lines are a quote from the OP, hence the "

    Third line is my post!coffee1.gif

The fact that you would assume anyone knows where the quote comes from clearly show who the thick one is here....

Inverted commas mean little, if you want to quote someone best you add that as well...

If quoting someone, inverted Commas would be at the start and end of the quote...your calling people thick here is a little thin..

Just when you thought you were on top of things you come across calling others thick whilst being an ignoramous...thanks for the lulz..

How the hell would anyone know that quote was anything other than your diatribe..you are the thick one here..

That pic is taken thru a glass window. Why?

And what's with the Chief and Headman's hardened gazes? It's that supposed to be don't <deleted?k with us?

How many times did they DNA test him. There's other foootage of him being tested by a lady...

Would it be too much to ask to let the british Authorities test him, just for peace of mind...

I get the feeling Thai police can't even trust their own BS if they think testing through 4 of their own are doing the tests...

Why is Daddy there, isn't this man 22 years old?

Where is the other brother in all this...

    What a farce..

Boycott these mafia scum who think they are untouchable..

  15. ThaiVisa appears to have become the defacto leading English gathering place for conspiracy theorist to spread their nonsense and make statements that have no basis as fact about a family that case been officially cleared in this case.

They have NOT been cleared. All we have seen are threats from the father and now the police chief about talking about the case. Such threats send up a LOT of red flags to me. Something really reeks about this case, and most of the stench is coming from the RTP and this headman and his family.

Actually the police stated earlier and was reported in the press that they "officially cleared" him.

You have to ask HOW they did such a thing considering they didn't take a DNA sample?

He was not on the island.

They already have the suspects in custody whose DNA does match ... so it would be impossible for his DNA to match too.

The took DNA from his father and uncle after placing them in custody as suspect.

Kinda weird the father and uncle took immediate DNA tests, but the son refused until six weeks later. Makes you think. Well, correction, makes some folks think.

You say the father and uncle took DNA tests, really ? Is this confirmed ?

Mon took one when he was detained,

    confirmed by police...no....

    Did it happen, yes..

    Source??

The people who live on Koh Tao....scared locals...this family, these islands are in control.....if you doubt it, that's your nievety coming out, or perhaps it's just your pocket talking...

The people on the island know who fled that morning,

Now could you explain why one day Mon was a suspect and next minute cleared, they never did address that...

These stories are not news to those who live there...Been going on a long long time...

  17. LATEST

DNA testing of Varot Toovichien, the son of influential Koh Tao village headman and owner of AC Bar on the resort island, by the Institute of Forensic Medicine of the Police General Hospital showed no match with the DNA samples found on the slain British backpacker Ms Hannah Witheridge, and samples collected at other scenes.

But the police said they have to wait for the testing results of three other hospitals, Chulalongkorn, Siriraj, and Ramathibodi.

Woah, in less than 24 hours we have the first results. From Police General Hospital though.

I am glad to see here in Thailand we have such advanced tools for DNA Analysis.

Wonder why they had to send some batches out to Singapore in the beginning of investigation... Or they weren't?

    Oh well...

Just like how Mon's dna test was all clear less than 24 hours after being released...How stupid can some of these officials be...

  19. Here is a little exercise for all the keyboard vigilante/crimefighters.

Put yourself in the fathers place and find society making threats and claims against your family and livelihood without having a shred of evidence.

Ofcourse its far easier for more blah, blah blah from this crowd.

Are you disputing the fact that this family control the island in a mafia type way,

many many murders in this dirty little strip...

I put myself in the fathers shoes weeks ago when he offered a million to anyone who could prove them guilty,

Swine mentality is just that..Glad to see these scum suffering where it hurts them most, in the pocket and a massive loss of face...

SOM NUM NA....Many people on Koh Tao know who fled that morning, DNA switch or not...Saree beach is doomed, unless you want to dance with the devil!!

  20. "Pol Gen Somyot, however, made clear that the DNA test on the son would have no impact on the police case file which has been finished with all circumstantial and forensic evidence submitted to the prosecutor for indictment of the two Myanmar suspects."

What? Not even if it's a match?

It cannot be a match when it has already been matched to the suspects in custody. It is an impossibility he could also match unless he is an identical twin of one of the Burmese in custody for the crimes.

It would be like looking outside for you car when you already confirmed it was in the garage. Of course this is being done to try to help the silly and ignorant claims by conspiracy theorist but to do so one needs to do stupid things like perform a test for which the answer is already answered before realizing the conspiracy nuts will never stop and just get more outlandish and silly in their theories.

You seem to have forgotten the 3rd DNA sample that was found on Hannah's nipple...

  21. RTB (Rotten Thai Police), you can be proud of you:

    http://www.dailymail.co.uk/news/article-2787956/family-friends-british-tourist-murdered-beach-thailand-wear-flowers-hair-tribute-23-year-old-funeral.html

Because you are also responsible; not only for the incompetence and the corruption; but also for the murders. Without your "protection", this might have never happened. But because you are so corrupted, because you are mafia, some people act like this because they think that they are covered, protected. You RTP are insane, disgusting, a shame for Thailand and Humanity in general.

Mister Prime Minister General. I am sure that many Thai people are furious against the RTP you even said you would reward for their "perfect" job. I am naive (or stupid) enough to be believe that you have been misled by your own hierarchy. So instead of blocking CSI LA and continuing of restricting freedom of speech, I would highly encourage you to take some decisive actions and in the right direction: JUSTICE. Among others, CSI LA has greatly helped the investigation, not like your incompetent and corrupted RTB you want to reward.

Well said toonsai. That article is blocked here so can you simply post the article on here in full ?

Not blocked for me, try using Mozilla Firefox and google perhaps..

Disgraceful that The powers that be have such censorship ideas,

As others have said, feel as secure as you would in Nrt Korea...you opinion can see you charged, what a farce..
