I find it difficult to believe that there are people still falling for these old scams.

The humility and hospitality of thais towards foreigners is almost at 0 level. It wasn't the case nine or ten years back. The result is, foreigners turn to other SE Asia destinations. Thais who have never travelled to the west see their country with BANGKOK'S world class shopping malls, BTS sky train, MRT metro, BRT as a developed country.

Unfortunately, tourists in Thailand have become targets in recent days.

Tourists should be more cautious about this.
