I`ve lived for there for some years but left the island , as I saw
the traffic increased. Could hardly cross the main loop road.
Only go there now and then some times, to visit old friends.
I can only say that they have overbuilt the Island
and I am deeply sad about the way it turned out to be.
Greed have no limits, and that is why the island will go down.
Will still go there and visit friends, but 3-4 days will be
enough time for me.

Why would anyone eat KFC-food?
I only visit for some icecream, now and then, but up to anyone
who have a craving for junk food will go there I guess!
Stay safe out there!

This whole "rush in, grab, get out" could be avoided, if the Master
had an almanac on his table, seeing that Monday and Wednesday
was holidays and therefore could extend the ban until Thursday.
And telling people not to go berserk when big shops opened again
on thursday. How hard can it be?
The Man have no clue how to run anything!

Rickudon!
For your information, Scandinavia include 3 countries, Sweden,
Norway and Denmark. Which other country are you including?

This is good news but people still whining about!
Sure there are many questions on this and that,
depending on different visas, but it`s a start, at last!
Stay cool and safe out there!

For me, this is the strongest I have heard from him and
in times like this, there is a lot of reflections to be done.
It came out at the right time, for sure.

Toofarnorth: I have 5 Roundabouts close to where I live, and one
have to approach with care, every time. Nothing wrong with that,
but back home the traffic is floating through without much of
a problem, everyone knows how it works. But here, everybody
approaching seems to be guessing, and many stops inside the
"rondel", with a possibility of clogging it up!

For tracking the ones he processed, bring in the Smart BMW:s,
that will do it!

Stargrazer! I`m all with you on this one, where people
come from (fairly) safe driving European countries, as well from
America, knowing how to behave mainly because we have a good
education when learning to drive. And then coming here and throw all
safety overboard, with no helmets, not even for their kids!
I see it everyday and I`m just thinking: Jeez!!
And could anybody, ANYBODY please educate people how to behave
in a roundabout!!

Good on him. Let`s just hope he don`t have a second thought
later in life and come running for the rescue.
I wish him well in his life here!

A friend told me once that what Thai government really wants,
and what would be the perfect solution, all in all, is that every
western people coming to Thailand, preferably with Thai Airways
(so as the airliner don`t goes bankrupt), land in the airport, give them
your money and take next flight home again (with Thai Air).
Now that would be the ideal solution!
I`m sure this plonker would like that (saving masks also!)

If they think it"s related to anyone on a military basis, put some men
to check out who recently have been thrown out of the army, due
to some mishaps, or subordinance. If not, well, keep looking.
In cases like this, I DO believe they will find the <deleted>!

He should only sit down, listening to the monks prayers,
like the Thai people do and then, finally, bye bye monks,
Now we can start drink and gamble!
I`ve been to a few funerals down here and everybody is just waiting
for the monks to go home to their temples, so the fun can begin!
Chill!

Thanks AGareth2. Then I at least have a hint, and I will surely ask my bank back home also,
so as everything will be fine and dandy. Thanks everyone for your replys.
-
thanks Wazzupnow, but sometimes have to much does not makes life easier,
only make you buy what you want, without thinking to much about it. And also,
not speak about it too much, people here like to think that all the money is
in the matress, and then you`re house is up for burglary, sooner or later.
I have cameras around my house, so I`m not nervous about it. But, no, not
any big money in the house, sorry about that!!

Yes, I know that. I always carry about 22.000 baht when arriving. However, I will not be travelling in and out
to any extent anymore. This is the place I will stay until I die (hopefully not in a road accident!!)!
-
Once again: I will not carry any money, I will transfer from one bank in Europe to one bank in Thailand.
-
The thing is, the money will be transfered from England to another EU country, bank to bank,
with all paperwork in the clear. So, no money while going through Heathrow or any other airport
in England. I know there will be some issues in my home country, but with all papers clear, there
will not be any obstacles. I was just concerned about how the Thai government is looking into
bank transfers coming in to a Thai bank.
-
Thanks Ubonjoe. Well, I`m not in a hurry, but would like to bring the money here, on a slow basis.
I have not much connections to the former country or life that I`ve had. This is my place.
And my good wife will have it all, when I`m done!
-
Thanks mejomini. So, 50k USD would be ok, on a monthly basis, one 50k to my wifes bank and
50k to my own bank? I have paperwork from a English Lawyer firm and British government that the money
coming in, is perfectly legal.
-
UbonJoe, as you know all about everything here, what would the amount be if you transfer money,
on a monthly basis, to a thai bank, without raising some suspicion? The money is huge, so I think it will be
portioned out. The the money is of course legally aquired, no money laundring here! Thanks in advance!

They said they didn`t use a condom. Try picture this 2 guys, drinking some beers (early on in the evening) and maybe a few more later on (after their friend left to visit his g.friend).
Ok, intoxicated a bit, taking out a tall guy, drag him down to the water, back again(whatever for?). One use the condom and then give to his mate, fumbling a bit (Damn beer!),
go on with the charade whilst they can be seen a at any second by anyone going for a night stroll on the beach. They go home, sleep and wake up, act normal, according to their friend.
And the cig.butt don`t mean a thing, could have been there for many hours before, remember they used to sit and play and sing at this beautiful beach many times.
So did apparently others(Hello Sean!) as well!
I have more on the DNA, coming up.

Regarding the phone on the beach: It looks like it`s the male victims clothes. So, if it`s his phone lying there,
then who´s phone did they find at the burmeses place?

I am amazed that every new tourist minister is trying
to outdo the former one. And they always do.
With more nonsense and no sense of reality.
I wonder what will be the next utter stupid idea.
And I guess that I don`t have to wait to long
for the next idiotic idea to pop up. Maybe on Monday.
